I'm only interested in christian men..
Where are they?
Is there anyone more descriptive than just saying "I'm lookin for fun, im a laid back guy"?
What does that even mean? "Laid back guy" . . . What girl is looking for a laid back guy?
C'mon men, we need more than that.

Christian men do exist - not only by words, but by deeds - hold out for your man - be patient - dont settle for less - and hopefully God will deliver you a man most women would die for - figuratively speaking of course

It boils down to this: if a man has not the love of God in him how can he possibly love a woman?...you're on the right track girl - don't get off it!

Single Christian men of your generation exist, but they don't necessarily participate in a general dating website such as this one. You might find them on one of those sites that you have to pay for.

Also, a single Christian man of your generation won't necessarily have a Monday-Friday, 8-5 job. So, you have to broaden your search.

Alicia,

I agree with Derek, there are Christian guys out there. Some of us are twice your age... :) Keep on trying. I for one am amazed how hard it is to find a "Christian" girl who 1. isn't divorced, 2. doesn't have 2-4 kids and 3. takes care of herself.

What ever happened to "For better or worse, richer or poorer, sickness and in health until death do us part"? If people don't mean it, they should NEVER vow it before almighty God.

Yes indeed..
But i'm sure people really do mean it when they say it..
People are fickle though...
As long as we keep after God for our whole lives, we will hopefully be more able to stick to our vows and become men and women of christ.

Awesome christian men exist. Use this time of waiting for him to prepare. Ask God to show you areas of your heart that need work on. The marraige will be better for it :-)

Christian men do exist, it's just the matter of being patient and waiting on God.

Isaiah 40:31 says, "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint".

Welcome! flowerforyou

I'll take a divorced lady with kids, nothing wrong with them. God sends you what you need even if you don't know it.

Well spoken Oldhippie. God loves everybody and does not have a religious bone in his body.

I meant it when I said I DO. It wasn't some 'thing' to do. however not all men we marry are faithful or protective. There comes a time when after much prayer and counseling, the safest thing to do is divorce. And by safe, I'm referring to abusive men, whether it be verbal/emotional/physical. Men are instructed to love their wives as Christ loves the church (the body.. all mankind). The same can be said about good Christian men divorcing women.

And people can portray what they want others to believe and see. They can call themselves Christian, attend church, read the Bible and still be abusive once married and hurt the ones they say they love. It happens all the time. Doesn't make the person on the receiving end any less of a Christian to get out.

imperative if you have children. Their souls are not equipped to have any form of defence when young. If the man is the one the family needs protection from, get out. Children need protection and love and should not be exposed to an 'out of control' adult.

I have been writing for three years for a " christian man" i dont think there are many. They always start off talking like they are and eventually their true colors come and they're only faking to get in your pants

Well said.I am one of the men that endured an abusive, adultrous, controling wife for many many years for the sake of my vows and my boys.I finally gave in after much prayer and waiting for a response. My boys are grown and I am 7 mnths free of that bondage and learning to live alone.I'm optimistic of my future and taking one day as he gives it.I'm new to this site and not looking for a relationship yet.Maybe just a friend or so.I really want to give it a full year to clear my head of the past and reorganise my priorities.I've been reading some of the peoples posts on here and I sence there are some proper attitudes here.I'll be around. Thanks. :)
