A lot of people go through this as they get older. Some of the health experts are blaming it on our water sources, others on diet and still others on the environmental changes. My doc says it is very unlikely I will ever get to live in a high humidity area again unless I'm in climate controlled air conditioning all the time. This is one of the main reasons I moved to the desert and noticed a huge change in my breathing. Now that I'm here I've heard a lot of stories of how people living in higher humidity are slowly suffocating. We're living longer but our bodies around 40's and 50's take a big hit that effects us the rest of our lives.

Something for you to look into for sure.

There is a aspect of getting older that make our bodies change. We do not do exstream changes in weather, as we did when we were young. We use to play out side in all weather .An had to be fourced inside. Now we are out in this for 5 mins an have to come in. Yes it is our age.

It is probablya little of one (global warming) and a lot of the other...age.....Cells age, as they age their capacity to function diminishes..

Houston is always hot in the summer and we are in one of the hottest months. Not to mention our lovely humidity! I agree that it is constantly hotter this year than other summers. Of course the world as a whole is getting warmer! I forget the % but icebergs and glaciers are melting at alarmingly high rates!

No it's because you live in Houston and you're quite literally being cooked alive. Slowly.

did you just move to houston? it really hasn't been all that hot this year, as compared to last year when it was 108 about this time... it has only been above 100 maybe 2 or 3 days this whole summer so far...
i will say the humidity is worse than i remember, and that makes it feel hotter than it really is.

lol.. is that why England , Alaska and most of Europe had one of the worst winters on record last winter? should i just "kiss your azz" now or wait till after this winter when the northeast is buried under 10 feet of snow? (they are predicting a severe winter for the northeast this winter)...
