Would you date a person who was a big gun collector? A person who enjoyed hunting and going to the firing range?
Depends. If he used them in role play then I would be interested.bigsmile

I enjoy hunting I don't kill what I can't eat unless it is to protect.I do believe all should know how to shoot an handle guns. The saying is its not the gun that kills it is the person shooting the gun. This past weekend in new york a police officer shot sn killed his son. he thought he was an intruder. I feel for him. How will he be able to deal with him doing the shooting. So So So Sad. This is why everyone need training at all times.

Fun Facts about guns:

~20 million metric tons(44 000 000 000 lbs) of lead ammo fired in the USA (20th century)

~9000 non-military gun ranges
(each 10yrs of operation = 25 metric tons of lead in soil & surrounding forests)

You're poisoning yourselves with every shot!

especially if she had a Plasma Rifle with a night vision intergrated laser scope...she can shoot and cook the food all at the same time

Good point Funches. I agree with luvin53. It is not the guns, it is the mindset of the person with the guns. If the gun collection was safely under lock and key, what is the problem? If he expected me to go shooting with him, that could be an issue.whoa

It's a little different in the UK as not a lot of people have firearms permits...so I would find it very weird.

I remember skeet shooting! My father took us a few times when we were kids. It was really fun to watch. (Since I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn, I didn't participate.)

A skeet is something like a hard frisbee. You throw it up in the air and then try to hit it. Great bragging rights for those who can.

I prefer my 4' long basterd sword (hand and a half) or my chrome mace to defend my home.

Guns go off on accident...If I go after someone with a sword or a mace...it is no accident.

If the problem is kids around guns...get rid of the kids. I prefer the guns. (kids ain't that special)

Many reasons to like or dislike them. I feel nervous around them myself and prefer not to shoot anything. Not even a sling shot.

Guns are like candy to the Texan in me. Its all about the size of the barrel. The caliber. By "caliber," of course, I refer to both the size of their gun barrels and the high quality of their characters...two meanings...caliber...it's a homonym...forget it.
