I was definately attracted to two bad guys off the net and met them in person because they were so Confident. We had a great date when we met but I knew they weren't right for any future "relationship" with me. I had to say NO to any other meeting ups. Yes we met online on a secure paid site.

indifference is a huge turn off - the mailman is indifferent , sometimes my kids are indifferent (when they are busy)

I agree those studies are pure crap. I also agree I like a man with confidence; not indifference, or arrogance. I have a friend who is a very confident man and he does not treat his wife badly or is indifferent, or arrogant; he treats her like a human being which is why he is still married after 27 years and will remain that way until death do them part.

If a man is a total "people-pleaser" with absolutely no identity of his own then he is probably being "indifferent" to himself...He is trying to "attach" himself to any available woman just so he won't be alone...Confident and secure men have well-developed "selves" of their very own. They aren't in a hurry to hook-up with just "anybody." They can afford to wait for a compatible mate...And when they find the "right woman" they aren't going to play games or be "indifferent." Or act like a "little kid." (Who needs a surrogate mama.)

Confidence is sexy for both sexes. A woman who knows what she wants and takes it is totally hot.

Actually there was a study that was done a few weeks back and this came over the radio and findings
were that woman in the study were more attracted to the grumpy looking man with a scoul on his face.
and men picked the female with the smile.
I guy that called in was telling the "fact" about is friend that when he was less than nice to woman
he had all kinds and now that he is way nicer he's only got ten, no, now they're gone.

What kinda message is this sending people, and if this isn't enough, not one woman will agree, my guess!

Women like alpha males. They like powerful men. It is instinct from the cave man days. Women want a man who can protect her from all the other cave men, and they like the man who can bring home the meat etc.

I would regard those studies as most likely conducted with a bias, and not scientifically reliable,,lol
