To all my friends here in the fifties forum. I learned today that Ed passed away on 7/30. He touched so many of our hearts in these forums and although I never met him in person I consider him a really good friend. He will be missed!

This news saddens me...I had the pleasure of meeting Ed 5 or 6 years ago when I went back to Ohio for my niece's wedding. He was a fun and very kind friend. He will be missed.
I just looked at Ed's profile and noticed he has a photo from our visit. R.I.P. Ed.

I enquired a few weeks ago on FB about him but no one knew anything. Thanks for letting us know. He was a very sweet, funny man. He will be missed.

sorry to hear the news about Ed he was a warm and bubbly person always kidding around .. I did meet his several years ago on a trip to Ohio .. we had a very good meeting several of us on here he will be sorely missed.. ..
