Why is it that people that are not In a relationship feels the need to lie about something so small..

Why is it that people that are not In a relationship feels the need to lie about something so small.. Unfortunately relationships are based on lies. A couple of examples that come to mind are when women lie to a man in order to stoke their ego; men lie to women about their weight or how the look in an outfit. I have come to the conclusion that if people were brutally honest with each other ; their relationships would not last. Very sad when you think about it but this is how people are raised unfortunately. Me; I am brutally honest and tell men to cut the crap when talking to me. I will never be in a relationship because I simply can't lie enough to make it work. |

Personally, I prefer that men that I'm NOT in a relationship with lie to me about small things and/or big things. That way, I DON'T get into a relationship with men who lie to me about small things and/or big things. But, hey...that's just me. :

No; not everyone. I tried lying and I can't look someone in the face if I do. I feel a horrible guilt complex and physically feel sick to my stomach; so no I simply can't lie; especially to someone I love. I know I end up hurting people but I can't spare their feelings by telling them lies. |

No; not everyone. I tried lying and I can't look someone in the face if I do. I feel a horrible guilt complex and physically feel sick to my stomach; so no I simply can't lie; especially to someone I love. I know I end up hurting people but I can't spare their feelings by telling them lies.   ,besides that I would think even from kids!

I may have lied as a kid but as an adult; I will throw up if I lie. It bothers me that much. |
