Do you guys or gals turn your phones off or leave them on when you're on a date?

Not that I go on dates lately lol...but I have to leave mine on. I have a grandmother that might need to call because of her health. I would explain it to the date first, of course

When I'm out with someone, the ringer is off. I'd rather spend time with him, than checking my phone.

My ringer is off and my focus is on my date but it does not bother me if they leave theirs on because people have other responsibilities.

Sound is off. Even though vibe is on I don't hear it. I would check if he went to the rest room or I was bored to tears. lol

Mines always off. If I'm dating a mother, it's excusable for her to have her phone on in case something happens with her kids, but for the most part, if we are on a date I expect you to respect our time together and turn your phone off.

I see more people on dates with their phones out. It's odd. Zero human interaction whatsoever.

Petty things like her using the phone would not effect my opinion of her.

Date or no date,my phone stays on,like some you folks said, leave it on vibrate, that's the way to go,but the ting here is,you shouldn't be on da phone like that when your on a date, unless it's a very urgent call, otherwise it would be kinda rude, but I'm not cutting it off,FORGET IT!!sad2

Your right I see it all the time here at the ocean front resort I work at people sitting in the lobby with all their attention on the phones when then ocean is 25 yards away, also in the restaurant talking away to other people. I can see you leaving it on because you have kids or for work but damn look up every once in awhile and have some fun.
