Why do women feel the need to interrogate men as if they're all liars and cheats. I'm only half way through my pasta and she's like "hey dude, I don't mean to spoil your appetite, but let me see your wallet. I want to check out what your real name is on your driver's licence."
Or like the time I'm slipping my arm around her and she's like "why is there an indentation around your married ring finger as if you just took off a ring before this date."
Or like the time I said in an email that I'd like to go out with her and she's like "okay, but I need your work and home addresses and your work and home phone numbers.
Next thing you know they'll be checking my prints, DNA and bank accounts. Some of you ladies have been watching too many CSI shows

Flip it around on them next time, it's only fair. Say you'll give them your wallet if she lets you go through her purse. Ask for references, preferable from men she's dated before, because you want to know about the kind of crazy you're walking into.

The way I look at it, women know the kind of lying they do, and assume that men are going to do the same thing - which, in truth, a lot of men do. The problem for an honest man (or woman) is that they assume the veracity of all those around them, so when it is questioned we feel insulted. It's been my experience that people that don't take you at face value generally have multiple faces themselves.

Is this true/false? Multiple choice? Essay? Is it a timed test? What's the grading scale? I do have a 4.0 to uphold you know.

Well, if she was that desperate in the 'NEED TO KNOW'
A.) she should have had him record checked prior to the date with what info she had access to from friends/whomever set her up {web sights that have all that pertinent information for a fee}
B.) find out the necessary {have to know right now} as in R U married and save the rest for much later into the relationship
C.) hire a private eye to vet all her 'warm bodies' prior to even sitting up a date...seems she might have some serious trust issue; maybe been burnt real recently!

But there are so many 'dishonest/scammers/catfish' humans getting media attention that it pays to be cautious!

Simple solution - don't show your ID and don't answer questions you think inappropriate.

I don't know why fellers think they have to leave their testicles in a jar under the bathroom sink when they go out on a date. And if this type of thing always happens to you, YOU are the common denominator. Might be you and not the woman that is the problem. What are you saying to them that makes them launch an investigation?

Being said, if I have to be scrutinized, or feel I need to scrutinize someone, that closely on a first date, or even after a couple of dates, I need to leave that alone.

What happened to the good old days when a woman just waited until the first time she was left alone in your apartment while you went to work and snooped through all your drawers and stuff?

I wouldn't date a man if I didn't know his full name.

are you sure these are even real women? i wouldn't even trust a picture of their privates as verification. best to get it straight from the horses mouth. ordering fish taco and finding a sausage link could ruin your appetite

I'm not opposed to anyone providing a full name. But I wouldn't reveal my place of employment or address to anyone until I knew them well enough to suit me. And I prefer that comfort come naturally through conversation instead of interrogation, background checks, reference checks, and psychiatric evaluations. Having passed annual job related Level II background checks, I would still decline to date a woman who felt the need to "run" me. Although she has every right to do whatever she believes is in her best interests and makes her feel safe, I have every right to refuse to participate.
