Wonderful Sitka! I have seen quite a lot of pictures of it, but still remains unreal. One of those things you just gotta see with your own eyes to believe it's for real I think I just can't image the sky being green etc. It looks absolutely beautiful!

Pics from the weekend. This first one is at low tide and the the tide goes all the way to the cliffs.. Fishing fleet kind of awesome... Russian church that is still in use has been for over 100 years. Which may not sound like a lot but since My state didn't become a state til the 50's

The concrete is an illusion I was up on the pier where they put boats for dry docking.. I was about 10 ft up above the surf line. Sorry for confusion

Whew! the pics are almost poetic in a contemporary way Ms. Rains This first one is at low tide and the the tide goes all the way to the cliffs.. low-tide ocean water, reflecting gray skies isolating one's mood, evoking sentiments of serenity as time flies when inner feelings viewed. Fishing fleet kind of awesome... taken from a distance, taken as a souvenir, pictured from afar, felt from within. Russian church that is still in use has been for over 100 years. Which may not sound like a lot but since My state didn't become a state til the 50's of lines & designs, of faith & spirituality of prayers & shrines, of souls & individuality

. This is just a update what all happened to Rains. For those that do not want to read the whole thread. In the process of this happening due to the wild dogs attacking her horse which broke his leg so each time the horse tried to get up and move due to the horses leg being broke caused the horse to yet stomp on her more trying to get up. In the end her horse of many years had to be put down... Lets see she had a horse stomp all over her to the point she broke her Arm, Leg & Knee was smashed which can not have surgery on the Knee till the leg heals which evidently has not yet since she is in a wheelchair still. She did recently get over one hurdle and got the cast off her arm but yet will take lots of therapy to get it back to normal.. This is some of the damage that Pancho had posted about in this thread.... Broken femur, 3 or 4 inches above knee. Tib/fib fracture..same leg. Amount of damage to knee not determined yet. Radius ulna fracture, bone ends protruding..left arm. Various lacerations needing stitches. So she still has a lot of healing to do. In fact she has had several surgery's so far and still requires more.. Rains even though she has the best outlook and making the best of what all has happen to her she still has a long road ahead of her. And more surgery's down the road.. When she should be in the Arms of the man that love's her as she does him instead she is still where she is due to more surgery's needed...

I totally agree with John and Pancho Rains has not complained She has been postive, encouraging, loving and caring. Rains after her morning cup of coffee lol (like most) laughs and is always willing to help. My gosh she has some awesome recipes. Man I learnt she can cook. Pancho you might need to sign up for the gym. A beautiful woman.
