WE ave some more of the light but having some issues getting them loaded. The sky was so spectacular when it started dancing. My neighbor down here took these and shared them since I couldn't get the camera to take them perfectly. When the lights start running they are amazing. the whole sky will light up and when they start to run they can go for miles or look like couples dancing. Today it is foggy, windy and wet.. So enjoying my time here and I will be here til the November 14th. That is when I will post pictures of the cottage itself. Like Pancho said that could be a bit dangerous to post exact location... Thank you my precious man, to do this for me.

Yes S... Up here we call them the northern lights. Down south and other places they are called Aurora Borealis. Up here they are just the lights or northern lights.

Wow the pictures are awesome I would never get off the deck would be laying on a mattress on the deck so I could just lay there and watch them.. Have never seen anything like that..

If I got down on the mattress I wouldn't be able to get up I love sitting out there. I couldn't get my camera quick enough I had a bald eagle hover today outside my window dang it.. We do have more we will be posting of the lights running. Also have one of a rainbow which is so pretty. Just wanted to share with all our friends the beauty of Alaska

Hi John, We actually see them in several colours here. green being the most common, but I have seen them in blues, purples, reds, and pinks, the yellow quickly turns to green. He also has one of the Big dipper in the middle that looked awesome..
