Oh yes the jars. You have solved the mystery.

Also not forgetting things like passing over the chips and dip to go with the wine he collected for you.

Yep!
And, holding the other end of the duvet cover while 'she' puts the duvet back in it, and holding the curtains while she puts them up.
Mending the car, shelves, plugs, fuses, etc etc

Come on ladies we both know why you need a man..wink. sure sure you can do for yourself but after a while..
You just need the real thing .. The Firm strength of a man's hands on your waist on your shoulders.. to feel the weight of him on top of you.. the warmth of his breath against your neck... the heat of his body against yours... as you both struggle to put together.. the furniture you bought from Ikea... lol..and besides this way you women at the end of the day.. can say to your man.. why do we have extra parts left over..?.. I told you you should have read the instructions..lol

So we all know that gender roles have evolved considerably. In years past, a man"s value in the home/relationship was rooted in his pedominant role as financial provider, physical protector, decision maker and child disciplinarian. With some of those roles having been usurped by women over time, I ask....

1. What INVALUABLE qualities / services APART FROM SEX and the procreation process, do men have to offer in a relationship /home?

2. In the absence of being the main financial provider, what service do you bring as a man to your home/relationship that makes you feel MOST proud or validated as a man?

Why do we have to " sell" ourselves to the woman?.. value.. offer.. service...

I now feel like a battery on the shelf at O'Reillys Auto parts store... just hoping I'm "picked"

Its a 2 way street.. both bring something to the table.

I dislike these kind of threads

tend to seperate the sexes more than unite

reminds of elementary school

girls on the swings

boys on the merry go rounds

neither allowed to talk to each other

In today's world the kitchen is for both male and female.

I believe men needs more practice.
Lol so Isaac get cooking. We don't want you to fail lol
Start with a three course meal then make your way to five.

Oh don't forget to chill and serve the wine.

1. the shoulder to lean on, the muscle to do manual labor, the strong arms to hold and catch us, the 'father' and male role model for children, the protector of home and family

just off the top of my head

people say im gender neutral but i lean more toward feminine or the submissive househusband i suppose o.o i could imagine my wife coming home from work walking in slapping my *** and asking for dinner then later 'dessert' id cook clean manage bills watch the kids etc so i guess reverse role? male lesbian? do such relationships even exist?

What kind of question is this? Women, what do men need us for? Grief? Irritating question.
