shades are you way to hide a major facial feature....they could be crosseyed or have a lazy eye.

Sunglasses definitely aren't a male only thing. Why is it a problem?

This is what I thought, I don't see it as a problem, people always look for faults in others, so what someone wears shades, really who gives a chit.

If an image of one wearing sunglasses is the only image in one's profile,
then others will suspect that one is a being shady. indifferent

Not necessarily. That's your paranoia getting in the way.

A person looks very different wearing sunglasses, and not wearing them, I feel. There is a saying, "eyes are the window to the soul", or something like that. I know when I talk to someone, I don't like it if they are wearing sunglasses and I can't see their eyes. I don't know where to look. On the rare occasions when I am wearing sunglasses, I always take them off when I talk to someone, even outside in bright sun. It is a different story if the person has eye problems and can't handle light. I get that.

Yeah, the shades make us look ultra cool. But most users would like to see your eyes...as pointed out in an earlier post.....the eyes are the windows to the soul.....providing you have a soul...... You make more contacts, if your eyes are visible in your profile pictures...all I am saying...

Lol I think it goes back to the whole Movie Star persona; the guys are trying the whole "Top Gun" aviator thing.
