To consider it " dateing " would be a month. ( at minimum ) not a once a week chat or meet together.

There was nothing wrong with us waiting until then.

If a woman wants to get so close to you as to entice you with sex so early in the relationship it means she has ulterior motives, and God only knows what they are but I've seen men kicked to the curb after a year, forced by police to leave his place and go sleep in a shelter while his "honey" was enjoying HIS apartment and everything in it.
I've also seen men sleep under bridges because they got suckered into getting the wrong woman pregnant. And those are not the worse case scenarios that can happen to a man when he thinks with the wrong head.
My advice to you is Think first (with the right head) and demand from yourself discipline to adopt the wait-and-see attitude that would help you decide if she's the one for you before you go and get sexually involved with a young lady who barely knows how to treat a man.

The problem with your question, is your use of the word "should."

That implies that there is an authority who can SAY what "should" happen between two people.

THERE IS NOT.

The fact that some people try to say there IS an authority, a right or wrong amount of time to wait, means that they aren't thinking of mates as equals.

you need to look to yourself and significant other for the answer. only you two know what beliefs and values you hold. what religious teachings you follow and what it means to have respect for each other.
