Not really. It is the employers choice. Most have many applicants to chose from. This snowflake doesn't seem to get the competition with the other applicants that waited until the interview process was done to ask. Seems some aren't think about the others to pick from. Let's use the car analogy. A more accuracte analogy would be sevreral huyers bidding on the same car and the seller picking the best instead of only 1 buyer looking at the car

It is the employers choice who to employ, and the employees choice what employment to accept.


in my opinion, even though they are 'entitled', any employer who feels it is an imposition to disclose compensation is sneaky and full of themselves

Im not asking to be paid, Im just asking what the payment would be,,, because there may be no NEED for a second or third interview if it doesn't fit my wage requirements,,,,

Even in an age of historic underutilization of the labor force, the laws of supply and demand apply. Hiring is a negotiation between employers and employees over the terms at which they'll agree to come to work—wages, benefits, working conditions, length of commute, relocation requirements. Maybe some of these employers just aren't offering terms that are good enough.

Here's the deal, most entrepreneurs don't have the means to pay anyone, as time goes by they scrape and crawl their way until business is brisk enough to employ someone.

Now here's the question, it took YOU MsH, 5 years to get to a point where you might have the chance to employ someone. Would you take the chance on someone who just wants a paychq or someone who will contribute and be compensated accordingly.

... we don't really compete for employees... as an employer we can offer ascentive packages tie bonuses into stock options.. offer gift card incentives.. in a way of saying job well done from time to time... we make ourselves attractive so we attract the right employee... but at the end of the day sometimes we could just train a monkey to do what we need done..
