Great Story! I'd marry a tree too for what they give us unconditionally and, of course, we can't live without them. Well worth saving as more and more are casually cut down while humans relentlessly multiply.

It is impossible to marry a tree just like it is impossible to marry a lampshade.
People are really weird.

Breaking news :apparently official :
The happy couple have up rooted and moved to the UK.
They are now living happily in the leafy town of oakhampton with their saplings.
They have asked for privacy and will not log on to the Internet laugh

Brilliant, mikey, just brilliant!

On the wedding night, did anyone get a root ?

Did the tree give a fig about not having any nuts ?

When they argue, will they get barking mad ?

Which partner will be the first to leaf ? laugh

As long as that woman that married the tree isn't given a license to own guns

Because you never know what that nut job will do to those who even chop trees down.

This is great, everyone is great , all the trees are great , anyone and anything should have the right to marry . It's great, everything is great. No differant opinions, everyone thinks the same of marrying trees. That's great. Great, interesting debate here. More of these kind of debates would be great.

In a update to this story local news is stating that her new husband " woody" was killed during thunder storm late Friday.

Hit by a bolt of lightning, Woody was split in two and fell over a portion of route 213, taking out a Toyota Camry.

Eager Beaver tree & mulch company is in charge of the services.
