Economic growth 4.1%. Soybean was a large part of this growth. Other countries didn't stop buying, they bought more.

I saw it on CNN. I can't believe they had something nice to say about Trump. I'm waiting on a Democrat interview to put a nasty spin on it.

The U.S. economy expanded at a 4.1 percent rate in the April to June quarter, the highest level in nearly four years and the best showing for President Trump, the Commerce Department said on Friday.

April to june whoa all before Trump shooting himself in the foot. Bumper spring crop of Soy at 74% during same period.

Soy prices have dropped 11-13% since then, Trump needing to swing 2B$ to farmers is NOT a good sign.

This thread is Spinnage at its finest. China has turned up the production of soy... That industry is done for the US, it's over. Maybe the future is in Alfalfa?

well before I start rejoicing I will wait until the 3rd and 4th quarter and see if it cuts in the the GDP growth.

I do agree that Trump working with the European leaders towards a zero tariff policy is actually very friggen good.

Something that Obama and the democrats or even some of the Paul Ryan country club republicans couldn't figure out.

I'm a businessman, I don't rely on any one article, a 4.1% is good but there's no way that's sustainable. 2% more like it, a la Obama.

If anything, it's attributed to the reduction of Corp Tax that QTR

Canadians don't use links...
Sure they do. From my experience, they seem to have better news resources from out of the states than from within the states actually. I was asking a member for one, not Canada ...and the op did not use a link either.
...indifferent ...

At least Trump is trying to make fair Trade. Meaning, what's fair for our Country US. Unlike previous administration.

More growth now, 4.1. Hasn't been that high in 40,yrs (CBS News ) reported, on Economy. Today.

China is not concerned about the US, unless China. Is loosing Trade.

the economy is NOT thriving though the numbers do appear to LOOK good IN SPITE OF trump, not because of him.

the economy went to crap because of republican policies during the bush jr years.

the obama admin worked hard and WITHOUT HELP from the republicans.

just because trump is taking credit for something he was not a part of, and just because it SEEMS like the economy is great because of certain numbers, does NOT mean that wages are up, buying power is good, and job satisfaction levels are at a comfortable place for the majority of americans.

don't count the chickens too soon before they hatch.

you can tell how well they are working by the way that we have had to dust off an old depression era law that let the dept,of agriculture give the farmers a $12 BILLION DOLLAR BAIL OUT!

cuz NOTHING screams 'SUCCESS' like having to go back to the great depression era to find ways to keep people from losing their farms!

yea, it sucks when the current administration has to bail out the screwups the last administration made...Obama left quite a few problems that need to be fixed...
