No agenda.

Just putting what the ex FBI agent (Dont know how many years he has been doing polygraphs) put in the report, which read that he also asked questions for comparison to judge deception.

They are not Ex Agents unless they are fired. He is a retired Agent. He also was paid very well for that. Independent polygraph examiners charge an arm and a leg. He should have never accepted this job, he blew his career. Not for doing one for Ford but the way he conducted the polygraph. His credibility is now in the toilet.

His reputation as a lie detector expert is ruined for giving a lie detector test? Doubtful.

About Hanafin:

Served as a polygraph examiner in the Washington Field Office from 1995 to 2009. Conducted over 2500 applicant, criminal, counterintelligence, counterterrorism, asset vetting, and witness security polygraph examinations.
Provided interview and interrogation training to FBI and local law enforcement.

HE is a CERTIFIED FEDERAL POLYGRAPH EXAMINER
a member of AMerican ASsociation of Police Polygraphists

He was requested to testify himself but request for any witness testimony was refused by the commission.

I think his one day of what people THINK he did or didnt do, is not going to obliterate the record of DECADES of the things he actually is recorded having done.

[quote}it really doesnt matter though, because Bill Clinton is no longer running for any office, let alone one that will be a LIFETIME job with authority over others.

The #Metoo philosophy is "any man" should be up for social media prosecution as well as literal legal prosecution whether he is running for office or not.

To say it doesn't matter is to say he can get away with rape! Not, exactly, a supportive #Metoo philosophy! If Bill Cosby can be held accountable for a sexual crime why can't Bill Clinton?

I would assume because Bill and Hillary are huge democratic supporters and will remain immune from being held accountable. His political party supporters are denying justice for the woman he raped. This is hypocritical and denying justice.

Again, I would whole heartedly support the FBI and DOJ taking a look into the last 40 years of all House of Representatives, Senators and Federal judges to see what they find and see who is left standing.

This may clean house of a lot of high powered elected officials of both parties who don't respond to the people of this country anymore.

In fact, IMO both the House and Senate terms and limits should mirror what the limits are on the President: two, four year terms. All could no longer serve in their respective sections of the congress. This may reduce the Washington power seduction process. The shadow government would be deeply upset.

I am not a member or follower of Me Too movement.

I think dating and sex and flirtation all have too many elements and are too complex and subjective from person to person to lump everyone together and feel investing resources into doing so would be futile.

I feel the current system of investigating once a ACCUSATION is formally made, suffices.

I do believe males and females can use drugs and alcohol as a relaxant before indiscriminate sex. I do believe males and females engage in indiscriminate sex. I also believe males and females can experience a myriad of emotions and reactions in one intimate encounter which make 'consent' harder to pin down.

I also believe that common sense needs to be applied to discern the difference between failed flirtation, if you will, and outright restraint and assault. Someone trying to kiss you when you are a grown woman in their hotel room, may not be as major ,as someone pushing you in a room and covering up your mouth when you scream when you are a teenager.

I agree about congressional term limits though.

I think the hoops are well called for, for the mere fact of the GAIN to be had, having authority that is SUPREME over the lives of others, and a pay of a quarter mill a year FOR LIFE>

Im glad we have a SCOTUS in our judicial branch of the government.

I am not sure we can call anything 'embarassing' anymore with a straight face. There is just to much juvenile, bullying and insensitive speech becoming our 'norm', that the line of 'embarassing' has become at best a very jagged and hard to define one.

you seem to acknowledge the attitude of the nation but you can't accept the fact that most if not all this " insensitive speech " has been brought on by the democrats just because they choose to be anti-trump resistors.

That is a silly accusation that has no quantitative evidence to support it.

our POTUS says enough insensitive things all on his own, regardless of what 'democrats' allegedly do.

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — As the Senate is divided on President Donald Trump's Supreme Court pick, so too are women across the country.

Female voices have echoed throughout the U.S. Senate this week demanding male senators justify their support for Brett Kavanaugh's U.S. Supreme Court nomination despite an allegation of high school sexual assault.

But other women have spent hours calling Senate offices in support of Kavanaugh, condemning what they saw as an anti-Republican ploy that's damaged not only Kavanaugh's reputation and livelihood but also his accuser's.

Kevin Bishop, a spokesman for U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham — who gave a fiery defense of Kavanaugh after the judge's testimony Thursday — said Graham's office has received as many women calling in support of Kavanaugh as in opposition.

I use yahoo mail. When I exit yahoo mail it forwards me to their national news page. Yahoo News is famous for taking a liberal stance on everything. Typically 4 out of the top 10 stories are always anti-Trump and anti-conservative. It is very surprising that articles like the above and the one about Bill Clinton raping a woman in 1978 would see the light of day. Even CNN has had articles critical of what has happened and how the democrat's have handled it. Maybe they see the light at the end of the tunnel and are afraid of the public loosing all faith in their news reporting. I still don't trust any of them.

--------------------------------

Who is Christine Blasey Ford: The Soros connection The lawyer representing Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh’s accuser is a leader in an organization that has been directly funded by George Soros’s Open Society Foundation, reports say.

Debra Katz, who is representing Christine Blasey Ford, is vice chair of the Project on Government Oversight.

Last month, Katz’s organization, along with several other left-leaning groups, co-signed a letter to Sen. Dianne Feinstein and Sen. Charles Grassley demanding Kavanaugh records.

Katz has also donated thousands of dollars to Democratic candidates, including Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. George Soros bet big on liberal democracy. Now he fears he is losing. Probably why he is funneling so much money into finding "dirt" on conservatives.

Lol , not sure about " quantitative evidence" but I know what I see on the news everyday wether it's harassing folks at restaurants , or calling half the country's citizens deplorable or gun toting bible gripping rednecks, or white supremests or out right lies like Harry Reid said about rom nets taxes not paid. There is no ethics in the liberal vocabulary. And now the way they sacrifice a good person just for the sake of keeping the right to perform near unlimited abortions. Sounds pretty disgusting and insensitive to me.

If you want to play the blame game, Let's start where all the demeaning and hateful remarks started.

President Trump's other insensitive comments on race and ethnicity

"President Donald Trump's stunning remarks decrying the migration of citizens from "shithole countries" weren't the first time he's made comments widely considered disparaging to ethnic and racial groups.

Here are other instances when Trump seemed to belittle people's backgrounds".

http://www.cnn.com/2018/01/11/politics/president-trump-racial-comments-tweets/index.html

Things like this that Trump says to inflame people and set them off against one another. So far I've heard more hate coming out of the right. Not the left. Because Trump calls for it. And his followers jump at the chance to try to "jump" liberal.

Donald Trump Says A Victory For Democrats Will Lead To Left-Wing 'Violence'

"Donald Trump has warned that Democrat gains in November's midterm elections would lead to "violence" and conjured images of left-wing activists fighting in the streets, according to a leaked recording of a behind-closed-doors White House meeting held on Monday".

http://www.esquire.com/uk/latest-news/a22859589/donald-trump-says-a-victory-for-democrats-will-lead-to-left-wing-violence/

Why would it lead to "left wing violence" as he said? What would be the point? Common sense says that if the left won either or both houses, it would be the "right" that would be upset. Not the "left". If there was any violence it would be from the "right" because they lost.

Trump warns evangelicals of 'violence' if GOP loses in the midterms

In part,

"It's not a question of like or dislike, it's a question that they will overturn everything that we've done and they will do it quickly and violently. And violently. There is violence. When you look at Antifa -- these are violent people," Trump said, describing what would happen should his voters fail to cast ballots. "You have tremendous power. You were saying, in this room, you have people who preach to almost 200 million people. Depending on which Sunday we're talking about."

http://www.cnn.com/2018/08/28/politics/trump-evangelicals-midterms/index.html

Inflammatory remarks from an inflammatory president. And he has been stoking the fire ever since. And his followers fall for it.

So you don't feel like I'm picking on you, this is no better. It's pretty safe to say that Maxine Waters didn't start it. Trump started it. But two wrongs don't make a right. Maxine Waters would have done well if she had kept her mouth out of it.

Maxine Waters: "Trump Calls For More Violence Than Anybody Else"

"Rep. Maxine Waters joined MSNBC's Chris Hayes to follow up on her much-publicized comments calling on Democrats to harass members of the Trump cabinet in public until he changes his immigration policy.

"If you see anybody from that cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd. You push back on them. Tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere!" Waters said at a rally in Washington on Saturday".

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2018/06/26/maxine_waters_pelosi_and_schumer_dont_really_say_im_out_of_line.html

This was wrong in her.

lol ... thanks for hanging in there.flowerforyou

LOL, I try. But isn't that what forums, especially political forums are supposed to be about? Not just what someone "thinks" is right. Political forums were not meant for people to get on them and post there shyt and spew hate.

They weren't meant for people to use them for attacking others because of their views. They were meant to learn from and post factual stories of the day. I've been watching and reading these forums for a long time. Way before I ever started moderating. Very few voices of common sense did I see.

ACLU Opposes Kavanaugh Nomination In Rare Break From Own Policy

"The American Civil Liberties Union, which typically does not endorse candidates for political or judicial office as a matter of policy, announced Saturday its opposition to Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court".

Kavanaugh’s Former Classmate Disputes Senate Testimony

"Liz Swisher, a former Yale classmate of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, has said she believes he lied under oath when testifying to the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday. Speaking to CNN’s Chris Cuomo late Friday, Swisher said Kavanaugh’s claims of never engaging in out-of-control drinking were not accurate. “He drank heavily,” she said, calling him a “sloppy drunk.”

This wasn't a court case they held. Good thing, depending on what state this took place in, her story may not be admissible in court.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/7737764

It varies from state to state. Because it was discovered that she was attacked under hypnosis, then in certain states, this means that her story is inadmissible in court. This story she told could have been put into her mind under hypnosis. It may never have happened, at all.

The dems are getting dirtier, and dirtier. Bet they toss her aside like an old rag once this is finished.

Keep at it. Power tends to corrupt; absolute power corrupts absolutely.

I'll bite. Where is the information that her attack was 'discovered under hypnosis'?

I dont recall it being asked by ANY livid republicans, which I find hard to believe it would not have been if it was true. and I have read NOWHERE that such is the case.

yes, it was NOT a trial, in a trial answers must be direct and not combative. It was a review of character for a SCOTUS nomination.

yes absolute power corrupts absolutely, so much that people may see you commit a murder and still support you.

Full Measure (CBS): Sheryl Attkinson
All security agencies (including the FBI) are refusing to release all documents regarding Russiagate. Congressman Mark Meadows spearheads a congressional group called Freedom Caucus. Freedom Caucus is a congressional caucus consisting of conservative and libertarian Republican members of the United States House of Representatives. Jim Jordon (R-Ohio) originally headed the group.

Jim Jordon (R-Ohio) was the first to request full disclosure from the FBI and DOJ. Within a week women from Ohio suddenly appeared claiming sexual abuse by Jim Jordon. All members of the Freedom Caucus have been denied special positions in congress and have been labelled as a congressional cult and undermining the GOP. Unfortunately some in the GOP act and vote more like Democrats than Republicans.

------------------

Even President Trump has requested a release of all Russiagate documents but all agencies with this information refuse to give the information to him: and he's their boss. It's obvious the FBI and DOJ don't really want Russiagate information to be released most likely (IMO) because there isn't anything to incriminate the President on. This is Washington's big "Trump" card they have held over the President for the last 18 to 24 months and will continue to do so until after the 2020 election. Which they hope to win.

As I've posted time and time again: instead of constant baseless accusations how about some hard, concrete FACTS. The public is getting fed up with boisterous accusations without FACTS.

Personally I've turn a deaf ear toward the media and political Russiagate accusations for the above reason.

Donald Trump may have to wait to see public release of FBI documents on the Russia case

"WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump is eager to see the release of secret documents related to the probe of Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. election, but FBI text messages and other materials may not be made public anytime soon."

http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2018/09/20/donald-trump-may-have-wait-see-some-fbi-documents-russia-case/1357531002/

The common sense reason they don't want him to see it. Most likely it has sensitive information of some sort in it. Info they don't want Trump to know because of what he may do with it. If he will accept gifts from other leaders/ countries, what would he do with the info? Maybe warn off some of his rich buddies? Maybe destroy evidence against himself? It's clear they don't trust him. With his Twitter tirades and not seeming to know when to shut up, and his love for Putin and all things Russia, common sense says don't trust him.
