Hey Rock, It could be worse.
I have 4 kids and 14 grandchildren. Family reunions are CRAZY! I need a spreadsheet to keep track of all the birthdays and a dumptruck full of presents at Christmas but I wouldn't change it for anything in the world. I'm known as "Gramps" "PaPaw" "Umpaw" "Mepaw" My middle boy's family presented me with a "Get Off My Lawn" certificate which is now framed in my hallway. You can now officially wear "Grandfather" tee shirts. You are also now qualified to do the "Grandfather Nod" to other grandfathers. You also have the authority to make up bedtime stories in which you are the grand wizard with a pet dragon. You will find "Pull My Finger" has more effective outcomes. You are now officially allowed to start your conversations with "Back in the Old Days" Considering human beings are living longer there's a very good chance your grandkid will still be alive in 2101 (81 years old). |
