I was spotting blood when I coughed over the weekend (friday & saturday).
It stopped Sunday. Its rather alarming to see blood come out of my mouth (tastes bad too). My legs and feet have been swollen recently too. So much so they hurt and ache, making it hard to walk, stand. When I sit, the bottoms of my feet seem to burn like I was walking on salt all day, yet they are clean and normal looking. I made a Dr appt but the soonest he can get me in is July 7th. He wasn't overly concerned. Suggested I eat some allergy meds. I did, feel no difference, swelling hasn't gone down. |

Or find another doctor. July 7th is ridiculous. |

Due to lockdown , you can get a doctor to consult with you over phone via video call OR is this only in Canada ....????
Telus Health is what I have .... an app .... doctors are available 24/7 .... OT.... I feel this could be useful under exceptional circumstances |

Suddenly feeling very sleepy... not sure if that's related to my physio treatment. I really feel as I'm about to doze off in my chair, and it's 14:00?

No blood lately (I'm thinking sinuses).
The swelling in my legs is gone in the morning but by nightfall they're huge again (and painful). I go thru periods of this and its related to my disability. The burning soles of my feet seem to be related to the swelling. Being morning right now, the swelling is down, no burning and my blood sugar is within range. I had a headache when I woke up but coffee and time has soothed that pain. I'm actually feeling better than I have the last week or so. I'm going to try to get some work done on the spare bedroom today. Still gunna take it easy tho. I have housework to do as well. Thanx for the concern, ladies. The blood spotting kinda scared me. I wasn't expecting it. I've had the windows open for about a week now so since its gone, I'm figuring it was my sinuses. It was bright red blood not dark digestive blood, plus I wasn't vomiting the blood, just spitting it out. I agree about the dr but with my income level I'm kinda stuck with the VA medical system. I can't afford my medicare co-payment or the Rx coverage. I'm aware of the ER and I know I can use it if I need to. I also know the 'E' in ER stands for Emergency and this wasn't an emergency. I also have the option to drive 25 miles to the VA facility ER where my doctor is on call. I bought some dayquill and sudafed at the dollar store and those seem to be helping. I'll mention the swelling when I see doc in July. |

Super happy! I bought 2 new dining table chairs!!
I'd been wanting that for years, never found the ones I liked and could afford. Now I could and I did find the type I like. I must have chairs with armrests which made it more difficult. Very happy, hope they'll be delivered soon!! Then get rid of 2 other chairs, one of which isn't even part of the set, and my home's look and feel will improve big time! can't buy 4, too expensive and wouldn't fit in between the table's legs.

It's pretty tough on on a family to see another family member having a hard time with drink/drugs. But you cant just sit back and watch them destroy themselves. To do that would be to not care. maybe she wakes up to it now.  ot feel sympathetic |

It's pretty tough on on a family to see another family member having a hard time with drink/drugs. But you cant just sit back and watch them destroy themselves. To do that would be to not care. maybe she wakes up to it now. ot feel sympathetic I have watched too many self destruct because of addictions. Being a realist, a I can do is pray for a miracle. The thing is I get it when people self medicate to ease their pain, but she had a great life... her motive she says is jealousy of her millionaire sister? J am beyond lost here??? |
