Hi, its funny that most people want to be treated like they treat others. If that were the case would anyone have a dialog with another here?
IDK but I feel obligated to respond to people who take their time to write me regardless of attraction. Its just simple common courtesy to answer (even a smiley face works) people who speak to you directly. I have to assume that most women here don't give 2 shhhits about common courtesy. The vast majority don't seem to care who writes them. Perhaps if I looked like Brad Pitt I would get more responses. Alas, I'm just simple old me looking to have a wonderful time with someone new. I doubt that I will spoil someones time with a single date and then if you still aren't happy just walk away. Peace Albert |

Maybe not Brad Pitt, but a younger Gene Hackman maybe?

This is nonsense. Women are not obligated to reply to a man whom they do not know. What you call common courtesy is something of your own making. |

Just focus on the ones who reply. People who are dating with purpose know what they want and they don't waste time and give false hope to those who aren't what theyre looking for.

I think many of us have had the “Damned if you do, damned if you don’t” experience. You’re assuming that when we reply and politely say we are not interested (in some variation) that all men take it well. Not all do. Some get very offended and even belligerent. It’s not worth it. No answer IS an answer. It’s no indication of whether a woman has common courtesy.

No is NOT an answer, It just shows the lady or man is too ignorant, lazy and has no manners to reply

No is NOT an answer, It just shows the lady or man is too ignorant, lazy and has no manners to reply You can't label everyone into your way of thinking. People have differences of opinion and if they choose not to reply to every single message they get does not make them too ignorant, lazy and have no manners. Some people get tons of messages and to answer every single one would leave them with no time to interact in the other areas of Mingle like the forums. Dramatic Muffin is correct. Some do not take it well when rejected so I feel not answering is better than answering and saying not interested. |

I prefer a clear "NO" answer to no answer.

I find that whenever I respond to a message and say I'm not interested in the politest way possible, some guys couldn't handle rejection and start insulting me. So I just ignore them instead.
No answer, IS an answer. |

Looks like you have your answer.
No reply IS a reply. Take it as such and move on with your life. It's the internet! |

No is NOT an answer, It just shows the lady or man is too ignorant, lazy and has no manners to reply Since snap judgments based on not actually knowing anything about a person seem to be okay with you, I’ll go ahead and make one about you. Your reply tells me you’re cranky, judgmental and entitled. |

I agree replying is definitely a must doesn't hurt anyone for you to reply doesn't take that much time all you have to do is be real about who you are and what you want then I can move on if it's not for me
