i wish my partner lived that close! i've been dating someone for almost two years who lives about 1500 miles from me. i didn't meet him on this site, but we did meet online. and it just keeps getting better and better and we keep getting closer and closer, in spite of the distance (or maybe because of it) |

I'm happy for you. We both have very busy schedules, so we don't get to see each other as often as we would like. But we are willing to do anything to make it work. |

Yes. I dated two guys I met on line. The first guy was really nice and I thought we had something going, but then discovered he was after a mother for his daughter. I dropped him like a hot cake. The second guy I met on line was another man I thought I could get serious with, but he turned out to be a control freak. I think the people on line are no different than the ones one meets at work or at socials, or whatever. However, you need to be a little more careful since you cannot assume the people on line are what they say in their profiles. that's just like anywhere else, but what is wrong with a man, or woman looking for a mate that has a kid? sure, you would have to have some responsibility for the child, and there aren't too many people without kids these days, so it gets rarer and rarer, to find single people without kids, and an awful lot of those are jerks, and single for that reason. ask the girls on this site about the stupid e-mails on this and other sites,some of these guys are preposterous. |

Yes, I've dated people I've met online. Some good, some bad. I've started seeing a guy I met here and so far, he is absolutely great. So yeah, if you have patience and take the time to work through the computer and weed through the B.S. and all, you can eventually meet someone great. |

Awwwww I thought that was the ideal for being on a dating site is to meet others. To answer the question yes and I have and will again. One never knows what will become of a great friendship once it is started distance is only miles.
