President Obama is still the better choice to what we are being offered. No way in hell should Mitt be allowed anywhere close to the white house unless he is the guest entertainment for the president. Based on what exactly? Although President Obama is not perfect by a long shot. He is the president who really cares for all of American people not just 53 percent. (which technically equates to the top 1 percent but I will give Mitt the rest for free). He is the only recent president to ever push hard enough to get some kind of health care reform passed. He is the one who knows how to not push religion on others. He truly cares about women's health issues and their access to care. He has reduced the torture at Gitmo by a third, not what I hoped for but better than nothing. He has used his executive powers for the betterment of all of us when congress was acting stupid. He has improved our standing in the world some not well enough but some. He represents us well. He passed control on wall street. He passed control on credit card companies. He has pushed for more jobs with a do nothing congress. He has tried to get the banks to extend the credit to small businesses for them to continue their business. And that is just off the top of my head without looking it up. That is a lot with a do nothing congress. He improved our standing in the world how? By lowering our credit score? I used to live in Japan and even had Japanese people tell me he made America look weak. Their words not mine. I don't think healthcare was successful. Pass it so we know What's in it? Good use of executive powers like when he denied the courts evidence that would incriminate government officials on fast and furious? Yes Romney is so against everyone yet his state has a more successful healthcare system? Obama never made congeessecen though his party has the magority? Mitt was an effective governor, in fact he was pretry left leaning as one, but you dont support him because of a statement taken out of context? Imo america has only gotten worse under Obama . I am voting not Obama and he may not be my first choice but i feel Romney is the better choice. Well the health care bill is actually Obama care without the Republicans shred job so yea that is a success and would have been for all of us had the dems put their foot down and stopped the stupid Republicans from ruining it. IM guessing they werent so supportive of him in general,, but thats just a guess... the healthcare bill is not available for anyone who wishes to know whats in it Congress PASSED it and he didnt veto it Romney has ROMNEYCARE, he supported his STATE,, the president supports OBAMA Care to support his country,, why is there any difference implied ? Ccleaner also has a nice feature which shows you what programs run on startup. You can then disable any that you don't need to run on startup. Can speed up your boot up time. You can also do this by running msconfig and going to startup. You don't even have to pull you the command prompt to do this anymore. I personally just use Norton. I used to use Avast but switching to Norton has just been better. I am a big over guy too. It's custom built by me and i will be making some sweet upgrades soon, new 3D monitor, 7.1 sound card and tiamat headset. So pumped lol |

If you are paying Maybe 10% then it's easy to say you would pay more vs someone already paying 3 times more. anywhere below 100000 I would gladly pay up to 25 percent anything over 100000 I would gladly pay up to 40 percent ,,,,IM not sure of a tax bracket that is above 40 percent ha you obviously don't know taxes. I make under 100k and already pay over 25%. So yea you wouldn't want to pay more. |

It sounds like you're worried about your tax rate. So you're getting up into that $250K range already? You must have a fantastic job. Haha I am not in the highest tax bracket. More like the 25-28% but you add in state tax and you are talking 30% or so of my income. Let's just say I do probably pay more taxes then some people earn a month. The point us people like me pay the highest percent when it's said in done because I have no investments to get capital gains tax and I have no wife or kids and thus no big deductions. That isn't fair in my opinion. If I choose to not marry and not have kids I shouldn't have to pay a higher percent for the same salary. It's basically a being single tax. Just another reason I support a flat tax. |

You could never be on the receiving end because we have never had true socialism such as redistribution of wealth. As for what we do have it would depend on how much you make. Sure you may not be receiving but a lot of people are in that boat bit also don't give that much. Then there are those that pay 30% or so of our income and people want me to pay more.
