How do we learn to forgive? how have you MADE youself REALLY forgive someone when you thought you never could? What did you tell yourself to convince yourself? What did you do after forgiving - ever backslide???? Sometimes I applaud all the failed relationships that biotch (my ex wife) keeps attaining. Other times I'd rather she be happy or that I would be completely neutral and not care. Somehow, I think that letting go and working on my happiness is more important. I forgive what happened because I know we're only human and make mistakes since I can recall a few of my own. Forgiveness is not an easy thing. I'd like to think I've arrived |

Let's say your country needs you, war is imminent. They have dropped ALL restrictions in the Military. No age, height, weight, sexual orientation, male/female or religious strictures. AND, you have no job in a poor economy. They offer beaucoup benefits. Stratospheric salary, vacations, and a 2 year sign-up. Would you go? No!!! Goes against everything I believe in. What is depression and why do people have it? I don't understand depression. What is it? I don't know exactly but I do know what it feels like. Circumstance can make it worse for me but even without, it's been persistent in my life since I can remember. Hopelessness, dread, guilt, darkness.... it goes by many names and can be described in many ways. I've learned to cope and shrug it off and live a somewhat normal life. I sought help after my divorce only to find that pills either make me uber sick or don't have any effect. For me, I don't think that big pharma has the answers. Don't get me wrong though, I'm not all gloom and doom. Just a side effect from the iron age |
