Sigh...I so agree with what you wrote about appearance and cleanliness. Many do NOT get it. Many go after, state their "physical" wants, desires...that's all they see in our/my pictures...NOT wanting to read my profile...what is IMPORTANT to me...

Yep...I have said many times I don't gve a rat's patootie if a guy is good looking (by societies standards)...if we have nothing in common, or he can't hold up his end of the conversation/ engage in worthwhile conversation...doesn't share my vaulues & world view...what good would is it (the fact he looks good)?
I'm not going to date him..
IF, on the other hand...he's not all that much to look at, or homely...BUT..we have a s**t-ton in common, he has a fine mind (and some musical talent, as most people I have been with did, and the people I know do), *and* shares my world and social view and values?
I'd absolutely want to date him....

Because as I keep telling people, the older you get...one serious illness or accident...those "looks" can be ruined, and..if that is all the other person is with you for, or likes about you...well.....no thanks.
I'll wait for someone with more wisdom, and depth.

Welcome, it is a matter of opinion ,one man's loyalty is another man's crippling restraint of the right to choose his on path in Life and not be subject to the whims and wills of others especially undeserving ungrateful disrespectful women

Works both ways..
" the right to choose her own path in Life and not be subject to the whims and wills of others especially undeserving ungrateful disrespectful men"

I don't understand the reluctance to wear a mask. Combined with social distancing, it offers me some protection from you, at the very least. And vice versa. Don't be a douche. Please wear a mask in public.

THIS.
It baffles me how people get offended by me (or anyone else) wearing a mask..
Aaaand..how does *my* wearing a mask in any way affect YOU?
While I'd prefer you did (to protect me and anyone else you probably asymptomatic self come in contact with)..if you don't, that's on you..
I do have the right to *avoid* you.....

I have noticed less people wearing masks...but, until the number of vaccinated people gey yo a higher percentage..i will continue to wear mine...

As far as "normal".....it is no more or less "normal" than any other situation I have had to deal with over the years...I just adapt/ deal with it...

Erm... I don't see anyone saying they're offended by people wearing masks?

Also, this topic is not about judging and criticising people.
The question was and is:
Have you gotten used to the rules & regulations or not?
flowerforyou

I was replying to the person whom I quoted....and his reference to some people being "douches"..
But, Ok...whoa

The more people you invite to the wedding the more money you have to spend

YES!!
Rather than spending a bunch of money to entertain a 100 or more people, most of whom you don't know well and won't remember their names in a few years....I'd rather save that money, have a small wedding (or go to the courthouse...like my late husband and I did...) and use the money for something more practical...or memorable...*like* a nice trip for a honeymoon...

Speak for yourself bluegrass. I want all the details.

Umm...I wasn't referring to or including you in my statement...I was merely speaking for myself....
I thought that was obvious since I didn't say "All women" or "we women"...but OK...whoa

the women i have talked to say '' one that will listen '' ...men say ''get to

point'' ,,,,women want '' the details''...

Hmmm....I hate someone telling me all the unnecessary "details"..I don't need you to tell me all the things you did ~up until the time~ whatever it is you are telling me about *happened*...just tell me what happened..
Basiclly..get to the point.

And, since "every person" supposedly has one...what is yours?

i am as blunt as blunt gets, no point in lying or sugarcoating anything at all it will only need explaining properly at some point anyway lol may aswell just be honest and be who you are.

blunt means direct in case anyone is wonderin'

Same here..I see no benefit in putting on a facade, or a fake front, just to lure/ impress someone...because, I woudn't be able to keep that up indefinitely.
I am 100% real all the time.

"when seeking someone doesn't fit your perception or requirments."

WHY would you be looking for someone who isn't what you are looking for/ want? huh

Explain to me why two gay women together is somehow OK...to be, or to watch..
But, by gosh..let it be two men, and people get all ridiculous with the insults and "that's disgusting"..
If you think one is OK, but not the other, you are a hypocrite of the worst kind, and admit it.
I myself have no interest in seeing two women together...nor do I have any interest whatsoever in being with another woman sick
(despite what myths and porn would have some men think)

People claim "no one wins the lottery"....I always tell them "would you like me to forward you the list of the last 200 people that have won in excess of $100,000???

You can't win if you don't play....and spending a small, reasonable amount every week or two (less than $10-20) doesn't hurt anyone...and, hey...ya never know....

Funny tho...the same people who laugh at someone playing the lottery think nothing of dropping $100+ on online poker every week....huh

Should married people Mingle when their spouses do not know?
What exactly would be their motivation?
Is it morally ok? I see a lot of people complaining about their relationships, yet here they are on a dating site???

Let me hear your opinion...

.

It is most definitely NOT OKAY if their spouse doesn't know. If their spouse knows and it's okay then it should be noted on their profile. Dishonest married people need to be b***h slapped.

I had a couple married guys claim their wife knew they were looking and had given them permission to screw around..
I said "Ok, that's great, let me talk to her so I can ask her a few things..."

Never heard from them again...laugh laugh laugh

They have their height settings at 7 ft+/ 214 cm
I have had a few message me that claimed they were less than 5 ft/ 157 cm
Nope..sorry.

Your home area in New Delhi has a population of over 21 million and you can't find a girlfriend?

There are cultural issues that make it hard...strict Hindus and Sikhs do not allow free intermingling of boys and girls/ men and women, where they could meet and get to know each other..
Plus, a lot of families still insist on arranged marriages... sad2

So "they" managed to slip one past the goalie. Yay for them. Happens every day in the NHL. And to millions of couples throughout the world. I couldn't care less.

(1.) So, why are you on a dating site if you guys are still married?

(2.) Surely this wasn't something that happened all of a sudden. you MUST have seen this while you were dating.

(3.) Have you guys considered counseling?

(4.) Re: "bugging her for sex".....are you affectionate at other times, do you show interest and care and concern to her other than when you want a roll in the hay?

I think it's dumb..
SHE'S the one that is pregnant, carrying the child, will deliver it..
He's just there....did minimal work in the process...

I think saying "we're going to be parents" makes more sense and is more accurate.
