I think this is an obvious case of deception, not just being polite about a gift. I am very careful how I word my thanks for a gift I really don't like. Sometimes you have to stretch the truth to be kind, but I do so rarely & with little elasticity. Lying about your age to get accepted into a relationship is not like telling your mother in law her meatloaf was "a nice dinner"

Okay so here we go again..I'm starting a story...feel free to add to it to make it whole...let's see what we get... Darkness covered the sky. In so many ways it reminded Sydney of everything about her life that she hated. Having recently added her husband to the missing person's list at the police station hadn't helped matters much. She realized they had been having some problems lately, but still there was no reason for Terrence to just leave. Especially without saying anything. Sydney settled on the porch swing, resing her hands upon her knees. She rolled her engagement ring around her finger and stared at it, now dull from time and wear. "Where are you, Terrence?" She asked out loud. "Why did you leave me?" As a tear rolled down her cheek, her little dog, Snickers, licked it off, & she didn't miss the roving man so much anymore. She decided to take Snickers to the dog park... |

Actually the pension amount depends on years of service and the average of the 3 highest years earnings. It can not exceed 80% of their last years salary. Still a good chunk of money, but not 100%. After further research I see you are correct.

dress? you've got it all backwards  I agree;
but to answer the OP's question, I don't want to dress my guy. I'm not his mother. His clothes should be what he's comfortable in, & his style should be his own expression of what he likes. |
