Hi, I work for a circuit board manufacturer. We have had no real layoffs yet, but a few voluntary layoffs & the shut downs for the holidays were extended. I get get as much overtime as I want right now because my department is the bottleneck, & we are under deadlines. Every board has to be visually inspected & tested, so I feel my postistion is safe for a while, but the other departments are worried. We have milatary contracts & that is what is keeping us going.

I have never been a mallrat, but I am spending even less now, paying down debt & stocking up on staples as they come on sale.

I listed 2 potential resons why not to. I think the reason more people are not posting reasons against is because we don't have enough knowledge of the subject.

Thanks for posting this. It's a topic I wanted to learn more about & never seem to get around to doing the research. If I have 2 of something & only need one, & the other could save a life, I want to know more about it. I am not a man or a redneck, but I am now driving a 1989 Chevy 1500 Scottsdale with a 305. It's 2wd & only gets 12 MPG. I really liked my 91 Ford Ranger, it got 30 MPG. I test drove a 90 something Chevy S-10 4wd last year, it was very nice.

Couples are always worried that single people will try to cheat with thier mate. They think we are always on the prowl.

It's common online & in real life. It's another way to say "look how attractive I am, everyone else wants me, don't you want me too? Come on, see if you have what it takes to impress me."
Problem is guys, That no one can impress a chick like that for long, she'll always be seeking more attention.

I think someone here is trying to educate you to that effect. I lot of you can't seem to learn.

Try blending & sifting all the dry ingredients together & cutting in the shortening only until the the largest particles are bb sized sized. After adding the milk, handle the dough as little as possible. Too much kneading makes them tough. It's the opposite of yeast doughs. To avoid rekneading the scraps from cutting circles, I make square biscuits.
Make sure you are using AP flour & not bread flour, which has too much gluten for biscuits. Cake flour will work,if you have it around, but is more expensive & unnessasary.
Some people swear the secret is to always use buttermilk , but it's not a staple in my kitchen & who wants to go looking for it when you want biscuits?
