good Wednesday mornin to ya peeps'n lurkers
OH my  I need ta get more sleep  it's currently 70F (feels like 73F) with a high of 75F but'll feel like 84F.. humidity is already at 84% and it looks'n feels like rain..  what else is new huh.. I shud get chit done outside like the LAWN mowed but.. I'm feelin too sore'n tired to move
I've been called a workaholic by many.. (as recently as last night ) but I like keeping busy.. if not I'd end up looking like Jabba the Hutt although admittedly.. he's uglier than I am  in my humble opinion
anywho.. got things ta do.. like going back ta bed AFTER I go do a few errands AND mow that lawn? lol

I don't believe in Fate, that my life is somehow predetermined or mapped out and cannot be changed. I am reasonably happy where I am in life, made mistakes in the past like most people, and I am now fully educated by life's lessons, self taught. Would I turn back time, no, even though the roads I took were maybe not always the best ones, but they were the ones I thought were best at the time. I am content with where I am in life, could have been worse. I have lost friends that sadly never made it that far in their life, never reached retirement, and you count your blessings. I totally get what you're saying Dut.. life is what we make it.. and agree in many ways.. I just sometimes wonder what life cud've been if I had taken a different path, made a different decision, listened to those wiser than I.. too late now tho huh
my dad used to tell me that I suffered more than others because I was stronger and could take the load where others cud not.. I've come thru, worse for wear but still.. I have managed to survive and come to appreciate the simpler, little lifes pleasures so much more.. I count my blessings daily..

gotta love a Star Wars movie.. The evil Empire has fallen, and Imperial warlords remain scattered throughout the galaxy. As the fledgling New Republic works to protect everything the Rebellion fought for, they have enlisted the help of legendary Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and his young apprentice Grogu. what are people thinking??????? IMDb gives it a 6.8..  I give this one a solid 9.8

Before I forget.... congrats for making it out of Mingle jail.... just like in the real world, its a slap on the wrist and back on the street within a day or two
But I stopped into have a drink and raise a toast for your early release....

so I opted for the smoked meat.. it was quicker
I got the last rafter up too YAY.. all done.. now I'm installing the cross sections.. not really needed but the extra support won't hurt.. so Tuesday's almost done.. and thankfully it's startin ta cool off a tad.. phew.. ended up changing clothes a 2nd time taday cuz it was so danged hot'n humid out
anywho.. think I'm just gonna go jump in the shower and get ready fer bed.. hope everyone had a good day and is enjoyin the evening

watched Harlan Coben's Final Twist S01 all 5 episodes..
it's a true crime series.. True crime stories expose shocking murders and scandals as investigators peel back layers of deceit to uncover startling revelations and buried secrets. it's really interesting.. hooked me from ep1.. anxious for season 2 IMDb gives it a 6.3.. wow.. I give it a solid 9.5 Also started All's Fair S01.. Niecy Nash is a fave actor of mine and she's her usual boisterous self.. it's a legal drama that follows successful divorce lawyers that own of an all-female law firm in Los Angeles. Watched ep1 of 9 so far.. S02 starts in Nov. 2026.. woot |

OMG I did finally manage to get that slippery rafter up YAY.. figures.. it was 1" too long.. phew.. better longer than shorter huh anywho.. that ones up and locked in.. got a 2nd up and locked in.. the last one tho? *sighs* of course it's being a turd.. I measured twice'n cut once and it's the proper length.. it just won't go in.. and my arms gave out from tryin.. whatever.. sweating bullets out there.. had ta come in and change clothes I was soaked thru.. humidity is THAT HIGH.. phew..
anywho.. taking a quick break then gonna go make some lunch.. it's a toss up between smoked meat sandwich'n a Zee-McMuffin (sausage/egg/cheese on a toasted english muffin) hmmmmm

good Tuesday mornin to ya peeps'n lurkers
anudder be-u-ti-ful day in da hood.. temps are currently at 63F with a high of 77F (88F with the humidex) woke up to fog.. ooooooooo *insert twilight zone music* do do do do do do do do.. there's 100% humidity and boy do ya feel it when you step outside.. phew..
anywho.. already tried installing 1 rafter, the one that kept slipping out but.. didn't work so gonna remeasure cuz somethings definitely off..

well folks.. anudder day comin to an end.. bye bye Sunday.. *Zee sings* it's rainin it's pourin.. yup.. we got rain folks.. nice cool weather with rain .. lovin it WOOT
anywho.. been a day.. a day of rest'n relaxation.. body needs time to heal.. still hurtin from slippin off the ladder last week and hoisting a bunch of 2x6x14 footers over ma head.. anywho.. only 3 of 11 left.. YAY then that part is done.. after that? actual roof.. I'll definitely need help with that part..

Sorry about that ....but but I was on my way home after a long but exciting night ... Perhaps I will help out next weekend , if I am sober enough ....but dont hold your breath !!! No wonder a woman's job is never done...she wakes up too late ..
Actually I staggered in because I spent the night at the slots after losing money on the King's Plate horse race yesterday.....so I was not really all there if you get my jist..... Anyhow I napped awhile and now back to enjoy this splendid brunch , prepared with many hands and perhaps a little love in the heart...of a few ... Thanks ladies....
