I prefer a man who's well-rounded, musically. I get irritated with guys who ***** about the evils of country or classical.

I'm into everything but rap. I've currently got the new Breaking Benjamin CD in, a Tchaikovsky, Enya, Robert Mirabal, and the HALO 1 soundtrack in my player. My music is based on my moods.

Do you think what a person listens to, musically, has any bearing on how that person treats a S/O??

Would the person who listens to Metal be more likely to treat someone harshly than someone who listens to Classical would?

Is the person who listens to Rap music going to be more likely to treat an S/O badly??

Hmmmmmm, it is a question that causes you to stop and think a minute. I can only relate it to my own self, and I USUALLY do steer clear of men who only listen to heavy heavy dark music. But then, they usually look the part too, not just listen to it. So maybe it's not the actual music, but the persona that makes me think they are a certain way, and believe they will treat me a certain way. That kind of makes it a stereotype doesn't it?

Nahh, my teen son loves music, he especially loves a good beat or a catchy hook. This means he happens to enjoy some of the more tasteless rap songs,,,those about bling, or sex, or thuggery,, all things he has no clue about,,lol he simply likes the beat,, doesnt mean he agrees with or lives the message.

I would say however, that artists tend to write music, based upon the type of person they are and how they treat others.Lyrics usually arent just a complete fiction, they come from somewhere inside.
