No, money doesn't matter, tonight or any other night. Love is about happiness and devotion, and being unconditional. Anything less is unacceptable. Money is nice, but used as a bribe, it's an insult.

And I mean "won't have to work for the rest of your life" kind of money ?  I would, as I get older I get smarter  ...I got to find me Miss "perfect" soon.  You know I read this post a couple times and all I can say is this.....I loved a man from the age of 15 from the inside out and beyond.....he was my first love, but also, had negatives I could no longer live with.....I will have love in heart for him always but in a more sisterly way and I accept his new wife as my own wife persay....we give and take input into our childrens life on a daily basis....and they tell me I am the reason they saty together....I make them remember what is important and to take a look at the other side for a second. No matter what happens in life and who I love, the love of each unique relationship was worth all the positives, negatives, heartbreak, financial ruinations, financial gains, love, passion,laughter and tears. Would I ever sell having all of that or finding that again on a bank roll just so I do not have to work? No, I would not......besides I love working, I enjoy it, If I were wealthy beyond imagination.......I would volunteer 20 hours a week at Social Services. |

my sister married for money, that was 25 yrs ago and she is happy, rich and has 2 wonderful kids. yup. new boats, a car for every day of the week, ect. ect. i THOUGHT SHE WAS BEING SHALLOW AT THE TIME, ( SHE WAS IN BEAUTY PAGENTS BACK IN THE DAY), But mabe i should have taken notes instead. hmmm

Yes i would An honest human being...how rare.  It's unfair of you to say all people would marry for money. I must be attracted to my potential husand. If is fugly, beer gutted, bald or had M(.)(.)bs - I don't care how much money he has - it doesn't buy attraction (or the other things I listed above). Love is not money for everyone.  Besides, I make my own money!!

Besides, I make my own money!! 29 is still young!  Unless you live a reckless lifestyle or have an illness you should be ok (accidents aside). Don't you have a life insurance policy and college fund for him? Don't reply on others to take care of him (other than guardianship). |
