Last year a friend of mine traveled to Australia to meet the guy she was talking to on a chat site.. Now I have another friend going to Romania to meet the 24 year old she is talking to and she is almost 40... When she gets there they are going to get married... I asked her so soon after y'all meet? She said we we've been together for a year.. In all reality no they have only been talking for a year.... Then there is my friend who went to russia to find a woman..

I love traveling to other countries. If I were planning to go to another country and was interested in meeting someone, I would sync up the plans to do so. Would I simply go to another country I wasnt interested in, or able to go to easily, or move there for the sake of a relationship developed online? Hill. No. Wouldja beleive I know two couples who did just that. Yea see that's one thang if your traveling to the country, but to go there to meet someone I would not do it.. The money and the time waisted to fly somewhere then to realize you don't like each other.. U can stay here and find people I don't like lol.. The people you know are they still together?? |

Unless I was really interested in visiting that other country anyway, regardless of whether the relationship worked out or not - NO.
It doesn't matter for how long you chat to someone on-line, or how honest and accurate their profile is, you don't 'know' them until you've spent a lot of physical time together. |

A boy I knew growing up crashed and got a DUI on this.....

Now I have another friend going to Romania to meet the 24 year old she is talking to and she is almost 40... When she gets there they are going to get married. Hmmm...I don't see that lasting very long. I've traveled to San Diego one time, but I guess it depends on how well we get along when talking and how long we've known each other. |

I have left the country ... 7 hour drives, 6 hour flights ... and I don't regret them...
I'll still visit friends but romantically speaking ...I think my traveling days are done ... I want to be close enough to hold on a regular basis. |
