That depends on what the man does, doesn't it? I mean, is he chopping timber? Yes, a woman can do that and still be a lady. A mighty tough one, mind you, but still a lady. Is the man running for office? Well, certainly a woman can do that and still be a lady. Shoot, women can even pee standing up. Personally, that isn't my thing and it's really quite messy I would imagine. And, I'm not sure how she would maintain her dignity doing such a thing but to each their own.

So, I ask, what is the man doing? Or, should I be asking, "Can a man do what a woman does and still be a man?"

a woman cannot burp, fart, curse, or sleep around and still be seen by most as a 'lady'

however, a man who does those things is usually not considered a 'gentleman' either


I think 'lady' and 'gentleman' qualify a level of class that is equal between the genders (imho)
