Just a discussion point. Should there be humor or honesty when a guy is asked: "Does this outfit make me look fat?"

I say turn the tables. When she asks this, a man should respond with, "Not at all, but you can't even begin to compare with how well these jeans hide my beer gut. Oh yeah"!

Let me intervene! Chicken is a futile effort of eggs at escape by flying ! And egg is a lame excuse of chickens to save their necks! Ha ha, now what do you say? (my copyright on these lines! Ok)

A man should always be honest and say, "No, no, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the outfit."

It seems like, no matter what I say, it is the wrong thing to say. I told this incredibly beautiful woman that that she was incredibly beautiful and got called a liar. A guy can't win.ohwell

I only handled this situation twice, with the same response, both times I simply made love to the woman right then and there (and one time the Redskins were in a playoff game on the Telly). That seemed to handle the situation pretty well. At least there was no yapping about stupid stuff for the rest of the evening.

For a lot of people, honesty is not up for negotiation.
Fallback is, if you cannot say something positive,
say nothing at all.

Here's another trap:
'Do I really look as stupid as you think I am?'

No good answer :-)

That has been my reply. " No, the outfit does not make you look fat." Then I think that the span from hip to hip across your *** makes you look fat. But, those words never pass my lips.
