As someone who has been described as hideous, I think I can field that one. There are really three reasons: 1. You never know unless you ask. 2. Some women that are extremely attractive appear unapproachable to even the most handsome of men. So, they might not get asked out a lot, which increases the chances of a positive response when they do. 3. The fact that we look bad actually makes them look better, so their vanity might just play into our favor. Roamingorator according to your pictures, your profile and posts, I would not call you hideous. Actually I think you are a good looking man.

My friend asked me to post on here a question she would love to know the answer to. She asked, Why do really ugly men even think they have a chance with a beautiful woman? She always says, you must be mental to even think you stood a chance. Personally I find this cruel. But I told her I would ask, so here goes. PLEASE REMEMBER THIS IS NOT MY QUESTION, ITS A FRIENDS eye of the beholder is it not ? it sounds like someone that thinks that they do NOT have to work on a relationship.....i have only met two women in my life that i could talk to about anything and never feel judged, they are the most beautiful women in this world !!!!!!!!!!..... |

attractiveness.. plays off a sliding scale... even your friend !.compared to somebody more beautiful.. and I might add! more beautiful inside and out.... may seem unattractive herself.
.... but she can always reassure herself on this.. even the ugly ducklings mother, thought he was beautiful..... oh and we all know what happened to the princess who kissed a frog... PS it must be difficult to have a friend such as her.... always wearing she may try to steal your men... .. because god forbid you ever land a very attractive man. well you know what she's going to be thinking! right...  . . |

Very rude...anyhow "beauty is only skin deep." If she thinks that way, so be it, I just want to tell her straight to her face that, "No matter how beautiful you are, you're going to get ugly when you get old."

One of the things I use to tell my kids while growing up was............
No matter how beautiful one is their attitude can make them appeal ugly......When one has a good heart it shines and makes even the plainest person radiate... Just because she sees someone as ugly does not mean the one they are with does... Sure lots of times it may be due to the money they lavish on the women.. Ohh well if so it is theirs to spend... |
