Absolutely.... No doubt in my mind unless these people identify with their chosen careers... if so I pity them.
What we do for a living is only a part of who we are...Hopefully we are multi faceted individuals.
My career choice is considered "white collar" I have dated many blue and white collar men in my life time. what they did for a living was way down on my lists of things I looked at when I considered dating them.

Do you think it would work?

Why do you think it couldn't work?

And what exactly do you mean by "work?"

People build and continue the relationships that work best for them.
Not according to some idealized relationship definition printed in a book, or how a majority of people think a relationship "should" be.

I feel safe in saying that 99.99% of the time if one person has an idea of how a relationship "should" be and then demands, expects, or manipulates another person to try and live up to their one sided idea then it's not going to work.

Is it possible LOVE AND MARRIAGE between an artist and a professional person in science or technical field??

Of course. It seems obvious.
Because foremost above any and all things people are human beings. Not artists or scientists or professionals.

People are made to love each other more so than to be scientists or artists.

Otherwise a lot of people in the far past would be royally screwed.

Maybe that's what all those cave paintings in France really mean.
Those artists were just sad that scientists and professionals in a technical field hadn't been invented yet so they could never find a mate.

I don't think there is a formula to what works and what doesn't. Some people work well with opposites. Others work well with people that have similar views or outlook in life. Most are somewhere in between. An expression that I have heard a few times is, "Do you." What is meant by this is be who you are, and go with what you like. I think this works in this case as well.

Well ... to be honest .. I ain't too sure about it. Being an artist and having lived with a 'science' type...

Artists are a typical kind of people. Usually impulsive, emotional, intuitive, spontaneous and maybe even moody. When they're doing their thing, they can need/require an awful lot of personal space and freedom. Can seem to be on another planet entirely.
They live from the heart.

So called "science" people usually live from the head, and this is often difficult to combine with someone who lives from the heart. Chances are high they won't really understand each other and won't be able to fulfill each other's needs in life.

At first it might work great, opposites attract. But I think in the long run it's likely to cause a lot of friction and misunderstanding.
For instance, the 'head' person coming home from work, wanting food on the table only to find the 'heart' person on another planet because he/she is painting/writing/doing their artistic thing, and not giving a chit about food, because he/she has a sudden inspiration to create ...
