I don't know anywhere else you can go back and look
at every single thread a member posted in, no matter
how long they have used this site.

You can get a very clear picture of who they are.

So, yes, anyone not posting in the forums is
suspicious to me..and I am wary.

I agree too, most people that posts in the forums are real and only a few could be unreal, coz those who are fakes and scammers would not waste their time on here as it will not benefit them much, besides they will be identified when they speak broken and crooked English.

Even thou I do interact with those that post in the forums more.. There are still several that I chat with through e-mail that have never been on the forums.. So it makes no difference to me.. I do not seek those out that do not post it just happens.. And have had some really great conversations along the way..

You can not judge those that come in just to find a relationship as their goal and not here to chit chat in the forums...

Many that are in the forums are not even here to seek anyone they have found a place they can go chat and enjoy it.. Then you have those that are only here to find someone and never post in the forums or very seldom..

And never let your guard down just cause they are posting in the forums I assure you it is not always a indicator of their true self~~~or honesty~~~ You find those things out the longer you read what they post... Believe me I have gotten to know a few that I would not trust them at all.... and use to post in the forums all the time...

I'm not wary of anyone not posting in the forums. Some people just don't like that sort of thing, maybe they don't have the time, nor the need to 'socialize' here.
Also, the group maybe appears a tad daunting. I remember when I first came here, I felt like everybody knew the others. I almost ran for the door (I'm still here cos I simply couldn't find it. )

I also have noticed that some people do read here but never post. I know that, cos they sometimes contact me saying they like what I posted in the forums.

The BIG difference is that you indeed get the know people a bit better when you and them are active in the forums. Often you come to like someone you normally wouldn't have given a second look if you'd only seen their profile.
Same with attraction. But .. can also work the other way round.

I would however NOT say there can't be any scammers active on the forum. You just don't know what someone is really like until you've met them.
Some people are simply themselves and open and honest, others goof around a bit and never really show their personality at all.
I mean, Soufie can says she's happy with Krupa, but for all we know, she buried him in the backyard? JK

But in spite of that, the forums can give a pretty good impression (unless you're dealing with a narcissist who can give any impression he likes or think you like).

The cats would have dug him up by now.
He feeds them.

It is easy to get to know what people are really like when in the forums. I mean...People have found that I am kind, considerate, friendly and intelligent by my posts on here

The more I am here, I get to know some members on a personal level as far as opinions and thoughts, general attitude towards life.. It's much different than looking at a profile picture and reading a short paragraph about themselves.. My only issue is the distance between each other.. mingle has reached a global audience and it sucks because I wouldn't mind meeting up for a group gathering for drinks and laughs...

I totally hear you NBH....it always seems that the ladies you are really attracted to and who kinda get you on the forums, all live pretty far away. As for down the street or the next city over...absolutely no takers, and I mean zippo.
I just think its a marketing ploy to keep ya coming back...the software is rigged that way.....just saying...

I have to admit that in my experience that I have found that the opposite can be true.

There have been a lot of folks that i have talked to in the forums that were not the same on the phone or IRL.

Then the guy that I met, lived with and was engaged to, He wrote to me, never posted a photo and did not post in the forums. He was the same in emails, phone calls and IRL.

So fifty fifty chance either way.

Not me.

Multiple facets similar to that of a brilliant diamond is what I exude... Layers of an enigma... Only a select few do I allow close enough to climb over the walls and get to know me...

That being said, most of the locals/in state I have met or conversed with are narrow minded and judgmental...

I have been attracted to some that live hours away, cross country, out of the country...
