The end of February "means" the end of Winter in North America....(in theory) Do you feel March 1st "sniff sniff" to Spring season??..or not? No, not really. Spring isn't until the third week of March here. So I don't really start to smell Spring until around the first week of April. |

Since this region has been in the 70s during the day and mid 60s at night, spring has been here for about 2 weeks now.
Right now, Accuweather: 81° RealFeel® 87° Partly sunny So its 81 now but it feels like its almost 90. Its still February! |

Well here in Scotland everything is at a standstill because of snow. Schools, shops, buses, flights, trains and even hospitals have stopped or closed. We've even had our very first ever red alert snow warning! I, for one, can't wait for summer never mind spring. Same in Dublin. Absolutely atrocious out there, and the worst is yet to come. I know harsh winters from Germany, but not the whole country coming to a standstill

Definitely not .. it's steadily minus 20C to 25C below zero (-4F .. -13F)at nights plus huge amount of snow, winter storms every other day .. nothing which might resemble the Spring coming .. except the sunny days .. happens sometimes |

A nice warm balmy day in Alberta..
The snow is melting slush everywhere . The birds are out singing in the morning.. Spring is definitely here.... At least until we get a little more snow..lol |

Snowed again 2 days ago, so winter is still here. The days are longer at least. Yes more daylight Its still winter here - we're storming. Shovelled the walks twice already today and its still coming down and not stopping until Saturday.. Spring won't be here 'til April at the earliest.. and then we'll still get snow. Every year my poor crocus' get a dump of it Oh well, I'm Canadian.. we own that ****

As I said before think it is going out like a lion for some ...
but yes the first signs of spring are here ... saw a flock of Robins few days back ... the flowers are coming up ... but maybe the snow we might get will not be a biggie ... or the flooding or the... lmao |
