It's funny really. Many people here say they don't care and it's this and that but the biggest audience and supporters are from what country? Yep  ah yes...makes me appreciate even more the best buttons on the telly remote -- MUTE and OFF...

my goodness...all of this pomp and circumstance...after meeting the royal "staff" a few times, everything else is just formalities...

Humm it is not something I'm keeping up with...but have no issue with it being televised. It does in fact show that the UK is progressing... with the times... I'm sure there are many that will watch it...  Yes, around the world. Just nice to have something that's not doom and gloom for a change. we'll get enough of that when this is over Hey..I'm all for showing off the good things in this world as well.. Funny many will be watching even if they will not admit it... It is actually a event in History, all due to she has been divorced.. If it so happens that I'm watching tv at that time sure I will switch over and watch some of it.. What amazes me is all the money that some are pitching a fit over the amount spent something like 42 Million that it is costing... Do they even realize all that money went back into the economy to the bakers, dress makers ect and all those that work for them... What is spent in events such as this helps all those Businesses involved. People don't realize that when the rich spend their money that it helps those working for them or the doing the service they are willing to pay for.. Hey if they spend that much look at all the people that keep a job and able to pay their bills due to it.. |

And an option to change channel or DVDs so you can watch a movie? I guess it's different for other Western-Europeans, especially when their country is also a monarchy :) I am absolutely pro-monarchy. I hate the fake shite that comes with presidency. If you look at the media circus around election time in the USA, the whole world gets to 'enjoy' that BS. Not to mention the money that costs. |
