Saying you're not a racist but just "prefer" to be with your "own kind". Is the same thing as say you're just a little bit pregnant. Amen to that.. |

Saying you're not a racist but just "prefer" to be with your "own kind". Is the same thing as say you're just a little bit pregnant. That would make most people and all races racists... Black people flock together with other black people, preferably with the ones from their own country of origin. Because they feel more comfy and at home with their own kind. I'm guessing other examples of people preferring to be with their own kind can be made since most large cities have a China town, Italian quarter, Greek, Moroccan, and so on and so forth. Even the gipsies did in the past. I think the only ones who don't do this that much are the Turkish. Does that make all these people racists? ONLY if they prefer to be with their own kind based on all others of a race being thick, stupid, criminal, unreliable or any other conviction or judgement. |

Have I dated outside of my race? Yes! Have I dated outside of my faith? Yes! Have I dated outside of my nationality? Yes? Will I do it again? Probably. Maybe. Would I do any of that ^^^, at the goading of others, to "prove" I'm not a racist? Hell NO! Would I refuse to do any of that, at the goading of others, to "prove" anything? Hell NO! I kinda do my own thing,. Some, march to the beat of a different drummer. I'm moshing to a whole different band. |

Racist is who associates himself with some caste colour or creed.Racism is not entirely bad as it could be used to bring unity and bad when used to divide.Unconcious racism is unprecedented and Strategic racism for good deeds is okay and not very good for bad purposes.

If I wanna bang someone from other race I just don’t wanna the other person to be forced and it’s better to earn it or even buy it rather than getting stuck with something you don’t like.You can’t sell rock as candy to a child and finding someone out there who likes expensive rock as myself is much better.Current Racism is which are very dangerous are programmed racism which is used though religion etc and racism based on colour is common and it usually wears off.The most dangerous form of Racism is Taking revenge for a Race who went through pain by other race as it leads to inhumane actions.God is with those who speak frank and talk freely guys to sort the problems out

I am gonna defend 'preference', to a degree.
If, through actually dating outside of one's own race, or culture... And, honestly giving it a try. Walking the walk. The person decides, maybe it's just not for them. I don't see that, as being racist, or intolerant. Because, at least they gave it an honest try. I feel, that denying a person the right to a preference, under those circumstances, is, in and of itself, a form of unacceptable intolerance. Now, if you've never met a person of the other race before today... And, you refuse to shake their hand, for fear it (color) might rub off? Well, yeah... That's racist as Hell. |

And although I get what you're getting at your statement would mean it is now obligatory/mandatory for ALL Caucasians to date people from other races? WTF??? Or -in case the person is already involved- must have friends from other races, or try that out. If someone doesn't hold racist beliefs why would they have to prove that? Racism = treating a group of people in an inferior way based on race and making derogatory statements about them. Not wanting to be in relationship with someone from another race in itself has nothing whatsoever to do with that UNLESS you treat that race as described above. It's just preference and knowing what resonates with you, just like you can prefer a taller, shorter, thin etc. partner. |

People want to make their own choices. They can.
People also have brains and experiences that lend to conclusions about the decisions other people make and about the nature of other's choices. And they will. If one is truly comfortable in their stand or values, they will not feel they are trying to prove anything or being made to. In realities, our choices actions and words ARE proof of different things about us. We can feel defensive about it, or just accept it. |
