The American people will not allow a corrupt machine to dictate their future. Together we will pledge to repeal this health care bill and start over. This will not stand.

No one should be confused about the outcome of Sunday's vote. This is not the end of the fight it is the beginning of the fight.

The American people spoke decisively against a big government, high tax, Washington knows best, pro-trial lawyer centralized bureaucratic health system.

In every recent poll the vast majority of Americans opposed this monstrosity.

Speaker Pelosi knew the country was against the bill. That is why she kept her members trapped in Washington and forced a vote on Sunday. She knew if she let the members go home their constituents would convince them to vote no.

The Obama-Pelosi-Reid machine combined the radicalism of Alinsky, the corruption of Springfield and the machine power politics of Chicago.

Sunday was a pressured, bought, intimidated vote worthy of Hugo Chavez but unworthy of the United States of America.

It is hard to imagine how much pressure they brought to bear on Congressman Stupak (D-Mich.) to get him to accept a cynical, phony, clearly illegal and unconstitutional executive order on abortion. The ruthlessness and inhumanity of the Obama-Pelosi-Reid machine was most clearly on display in their public humiliation of Stupak.

The real principles of the machine were articulated by Democratic Congressman Alcee Hastings who was impeached and removed from the bench as a federal judge, before being elected to the House when he said, "There ain't no rules here, we're trying to accomplish something. . . .All this talk about rules. . . .When the deal goes down . . . we make 'em up as we go along."

It is hard for the American people to believe their leaders on the left are this bad.

They are.

The American people will not allow a corrupt machine to dictate their future.

Together we will pledge to repeal this bill and start over.

Together we will prove that this will not stand.

2010 and 2012 will be among the most important elections in American history. These elections will allow us to save America from a left-wing machine of unparalleled corruption arrogance and cynicism.

Sunday was one more step in the fight against a "Washington knows best" and "Washington should run everything" attitude.

Let us turn now to the Senate to continue this fight for real reform, for real self government, and for policies that create jobs, improve health outcomes, and increase freedom.

I am, printing a bumper sticker for my car today that says: "NO MORE MISREPRESENTATION!"

Think that will help spread the message???

time will tell,,,,plenty of information and misinformation will be spread,,, and the bill will or wont pass,,,,,

the best strategies on each side,,,for the naysayers is hyping up the constitutional issue

for the supporters is getting out plenty of INFORMATION to the various groups about what this bill will do for them

to the college students who can stay on mom and dads insurance
to those who are ill who can no longer be denied or kicked off of coverage
to those who are happy with the plan they have

I think those are probably the techniques in store on both sides,, we will just see how much they ,, along with the passing of time and implementation of REAL assistance for some,,,pan out

Then I guess the GOP has a lot of work to do to prepare for NOV. Get out there and campaign, and do your thing. I just hope you have the cards to back up the "prophecy" of a GOP victory. We'll believe it when we see it.

I dont take anything in politics for granted,, one never knows, its a money game like everything else in this country,,,

I am just hoping that this 'CHANGE' will be validated and in effect this time two years from now and the naysayers will have moved on to the next popular 'protest'.

The insurance industry! Also we are having government tell us they know what is best for us and screw our opinion!

A lot of work to do? Look at the polls, the GOP could coast through this next set of elections without even trying. Hell here in Nevada Harry Reid's opponent is beating him by double digits, and from what im reading that is happening across the country.

Again just look at 2009.......

Nothing like it. Never has so many states come together to file suit and never has so many states come togehter to pass laws to repel something.

"liberalism" is a philosophy of government

most of the Democrats in Washington are not liberal. They are "social progressive"

Health reform---fine...if it is done right. HOWEVER, this bill is 1000 pages long! with so much "pig fat" in it that no one is talking about.

Besides that, this should not have been one our presidents #1 priorty...fixing the economy and the job market should have been his number 1..but that takes effort and trying to think on how to 'save' money. vice spending it...which is what he has shown he likes to do. But that's jmo.

I feel sorry for Bush. I think he just was undereducated for the position,, was permitted to take on too much, with FAR too much ego and far too little EDUCATION or COMMON SENSE to back it up...

I think things will work out fine, either way it goes,, but (as I have said a million times now) I am really HOPING this goes all the way through without some crazy physical altercations like what happened when 'states rights' were argued in the case of slavery.

So do I, but it certainly wouldn't surprise me what some of these lunies would do just to prove a point.... They do not defend the law, they only care about themselves, corruption, big business, greed and power.... you watch and see, a group of them will get together and do some of the most despicable things just to prove a unprovable point, and fox (so-called) news will have cameras there first. LOL laugh
