I truly believe in spirits,ghosts, paranormal activities. I've never encountered one face to face..but have smelled scents when there should be none- knowing my Grandfather was in the car with me when I smelled his old brand of tobacco, my 2 yorkies would not go into the dining room at the farm and would bark ferociously lunging towards an empty chair and the scent of fresh biscuits was in there but it was late at night and everyone was in bed except me and mom. We knew our Sug was in there, he loved his fresh biscuits. My late husband went fishing down to a neighbors pond, and saw a man standing under the light and said hello to him but he turned and walked towards the house, then vanished. When he came into the house he looked like he seen a ghost and I asked what was wrong? He told me what happened..and I asked him what the man looked like? He told me what he looked like and what he had on and Mom and I said that was our Uncle Obed! He died about 5yrs before I met my late husband. Plus alot of unusual things through the years. But I do believe!!

like flies on a cow patty..unfortunately, they do..but alot of times it's a very good thing!! (trust me-I know)..

I think we're screwed no matter who we get..I don't care for any of the candidates.

Carol, I'm so sorry for your loss, both of them..I know that had to be tough. I'm doing pretty good now, thanks for asking. I still have a few rough spots here and there and will expect too for awhile yet. But, that's only because there was no closure so to speak..But, I will be fine cause I'm a tough old bird...


Greatguy, I'm so sorry for your loss also. It's hard when they pass, especialy if we didn't get the chance to say goodbye. I've talked with some that was with their spouse when they passed, and people like me who wasn't with them..and any way is hard to go through I believe. But, I know they are watching over us and understand.

Connie how are doing tonight? I just got back home yesterday and so glad to be back home, think that road gets longer each time I travel it.lol

When my Mom and Nanny passed..we all decided to send all her clothes to goodwill, to help people that needed clothes. I couldn't do it, so my Aunt took them for us.

Angel- I didn't have any choices right after my husband's death. I had to move just a few weeks after, and from a 2 story home on the lake to a small 1 bedroom apartment- I was rather limited. I kept my shrank and grandfather clock, and whatnots from everywhere..but tools, and everything else I just couldn't make room for and it went into the auction..it literally ripped my heart out. In less than a month I lost the love of my life- our home, all his belongngs, my wedding rings, his boat..it seemed like everything having to do with him was being torn away. It's been 5 yrs almost now..and I wish I would have had more time to go slower.

My ex lives in Texas too...he can stay down there.. But, I'm seriously considering moving back to Texas pretty soon so I can be closer to my Dad- but still a long ways away from the ex..

If it's meant to be..it will happen regardless who we vote for...

Hi everyone hello and welcome voluptuous

I saw the news this morning about the boy scout troop being hit..that is soo sad. I feel so sorry for the parents of those 4 boys. It's hard when you lose a child and I couldn't imagine the heartache when the child is alot older! I went to the casinos for my free plays earlier..didn't do as well as I would liked to have done..but at least I came home with about 20.00 so guess it wasn't too bad...

LOL Cathy....we could call her a sunburnt alien maybe..since she would have weird spots all over..eh??
