Some can get along, some can't.

To me the biggest trend I see is that as soon as people identify themselves as part of a group, a group from which others are excluded, they immediately begin to treat non-members less courteously and frequently treat them as automatic adversaries.

I don't believe any of us will ever understand what God really is while we are alive.

So we will always be too young.

I do think it's possible that time is non-linear. We are quite limited by our senses.

I do like to hear others views but once again it seems we have gotten to a point where a question is an accusation, every difference of opinion an attack. I think it is nice that people feel strongly about there beliefs but I don't understand why they become so very angry with those who don't agree with them...

Thanks sweetie. Long time no see. Hope school is going well. And everything else too!

We like to argue with each other. We definitely have that in common. I'm not sure why we wouldn't want to have sex anymore even if he is grumpy... but of course it happens.

The main reason we are getting married? We have talked about it and it's actually more meaningful to him than to me. He believes god brought me to him. I don't necessarily agree with that aspect but I do love him and love being with him.

And now we want to celebrate our love for one another and mark the beginning of a new part in our lives where we have decided to do everything possible to help one another with our goals and challenges. We are committed to doing everything we can to make our lives together the best they can be.

I don't think of it as a contract with the state but a pledge between the two of us.

But thank you for sharing your thoughts. Perhaps in time you will change your mind. Perhaps not. I certainly don't think marriage is neccesary for a happy life or is a great relationship. It's just something we both want to do.

What does that mean?

I disagree- by definition they are already "believers" so it should be relatively easy for that god to prove to that person that they are who they want them to be.

Why?

Not all marriages are the same... I have had my doubts to be sure...

But doesn't everyone?

Don't get discouraged- it happens to many. My boyfriend's daughter had a similar episode late last fall. So sad to see her so unhappy and lost. She is much better now. Hopefully your daughter will emerge stronger and more able to cope in the future.
