I just read a really disturbing profile. This man said that if you have EVER used drugs in your lifetime, DONT MAIL ME. I was shocked to read this! If you read my profile, I am very honest, and open,(like always)about the fact that I smoked meth, for a long time.In fact, I had no one, and no programs, so the Minglers were my only support system, and of course they were always there for me, cheering me on in my journey. I quit cold turkey, just one day said "ive had enough of this", and stopped. I have been clean now for 4 years, and im never going back to that lifestyle again. PEOPLE DO CHANGE! I quit, I found God, I am a completely different, and reborn person.Ive even been rebabtised! But that man will never know the kind of person that I am now.And I like who I am now, ive grown tremendously! I remember when I quit, thinking that it was wonderful, that I would be able to date a whole different group of men now. The ones who are clean, and dont use drugs. But this man will never know me, and who ive become...and it makes me feel dirty and sad. Am I over-reacting, just because of my past??? Whats your take on this?? You beat meth cold turkey, and have been clean for four years. You beat breast cancer, shave your head to give your hair to charity. You found God and He's in your life now. I dated a guy who always opened the car door for me and can I tell you it drove me crazy!!! It is one thing (if he must) if it is the beginning of the date and he is just being polite in a nice way. It is another thing if we have stopped at a quick stop so I can run in and get smokes and I have to wait for him to open my door...like I can't do it myself. Or if it is pouring rain and I can get into the car faster by myself!! I tell you he took his 'old world charm' to maddening extremes!!! Perhaps I am just to independent to live.....? If I'm walking with her from the quick stop or where ever, I will open her door, but not if I'm waiting in the car for her. Are you too independent to have a man (in a resterant) to help you in your seat when you are first sitting down or standing when you come back. Open a door, give you a seat. Stand when you enter a room. Or are I'm old fashioned from what my grandparents taught me. Ron |

My date meets me at the door, holds my hand ( to make sure that I don't fall) walks me to the car, opens the door for me, hands me my seatbelt, then gives me a bunch of kisses before he shuts my door.  After the date, he will open my door, help me out of the car, holds my hand again, and walks me back up to my door.  "hands me my seatbelt". When I mentioned this a few years ago on a forum i was ridiculed. Sometimes those seatbelts are so far back it can hurt your shoulder to reach back for it. I guess the person thought I buckled her in. I like this, it bothers me when she doesnt let me. to the guy who asks "if she picks me up?" Open her door and help her with her seat belt anyway. Ron |

New.. to this site, singles scene. I fail to understand why so many ladies want to post such pictures.. I want a man to find me attractive because of so many things other than just my body. Maybe there is some low self esteem.. I don't know. I of course want to feel sexy and wanted but feel that should be left in the intimacy of a couple. I feel that this takes away form a person to act this way in public. Please don't be insulted, I mean harm to any persons feelings. Maybe some response can shed some light... Your pictures look awfully nice. I stay away from those women that show those provocative pictures, that's not the type I want.
