Another false Dilemma Fallacy! The law of averages insists that you must be making them on purpose, nobody can stumble into the same fallacy on accident so many times.

Spidercmb....er...I'm not sure that someone such as yourself that believe in talking serpents and talking burning bushes should use the term "false Dilemma Fallacy" to anyone but theirself

I don't believe in talking serpents or talking burning bushes, but if I did, those have nothing to do with "False Dilemma Fallacies". A False Dilemma Fallacy is when fewer options are presented than are actually possible. It's like saying "Creation requires need". Creation doesn't require need, there are any number of motivated factors. That makes the statement a false dilemma.

so according to those laws of averages what are the odds of running into a real "talking gecko" like the one in that Geico television commercial

I would guess somewhere right around 0.

"Spread by example" means "live a good life that other's will want to emulate". Christians can't live Jesus' life, we're not perfect.

well since you apparently don't go to church I guess I have to become Jesus and show you the way to God ...for Jesus and I are one

Jesus/me gave teachings so that you can get to God ...Jesus/me also gave you commands so that others can get to God

if Jesus/me command you to preach the word so others can get to God...then you are suppose to do it not make excuses

I don't know of any who want that. You can't just make up crap and get angry about it.

you mean like claiming that 3=1 just so that you won't be accused of worshipping three Gods

Clearly a tripod is three different things, right?

it's called a tripod because it has three individual legs

do the trinty have three individual gods?

according to Math in public school ...3 legs equals to three legs
according to Christian Math..three legs equals to one leg

Three legs, one tripod.

Three persons, one God.

well if you do not believe in talking serpents or bushing bushes then that means you lack faith ...that would explain why you do not follow the commands of Jesus

nope..you don't even have to go to sunday school to know that God is not a person(s)....can you give a passage form the bible where it states that the Father is a person(s) ...

if you can't find it in the holy bible perhaps you "accidently" got it from the Satanic Bible

Jesus is supposed to sit on the right hand side of God...not be his right hand like some circus freak....since the left hand side is still open I will put in an application...and who knows maybe the father will retire and I can sit in his chair

Another false dilemma fallacy.

"The Serpent" was a metaphor. This was Satan talking, not a snake.

The burning bush didn't speak, the burning bush attracted Moses' attention and then an Angel spoke to Moses from the bush.

A metaphor can be the truth, just not the literal truth. Jesus taught in parables, which are metaphorical stories.

Not true, using metaphors or parables don't make it a lie. Does it mean you lied when you said it's cold as ice outside? It's freezing cold when it's only 35+? That it's hot as hell?

No, you're not lying. You're explaining it in a way so people understand precisely what you mean, making it easier for them to understand exactly what you mean. That's why Jesus used parables. He used them for understanding rather then just orders eg., do this, don't do that, ect.

respect
1a : to consider worthy of high regard : esteem
b : to refrain from interfering with <please respect their privacy>

2: to have reference to

I respect PEOPLE, not things, using definition 1a

I respect certain behaviors and things but not all, using definition 1b

I respect every topic I post in, using definition 2

exactly how many parables or metaphors are on your birth certificate and/or Driver's License ....

is Cowboy listed as your name on either one ....also take in to consideration that there are no such things as boys that are cows

in some shape form or fashion ....everyone lies ...including Jesus

There was a preacher outside the train station the other day and he asked me if i would like one of his leaflets. 'No i f***** well do not', i replied. I would have liked to have stayed around for a bit to advise him that i would not even wipe my backside with it, but i had a bus to catch.

That is how to be respectful.

I could have ignored him, but that would have been rude. I could have taken the leaflet and discarded it later, but that would have made him think i was interested, and would therefore be a lie. I could have just said no thank you, but he would not have learnt my true feelings about the matter. He chose to engage with me, and i gave him the most honest reponse i could.

He did not even thank me for it.

What does my license and birth certificate have anything to do with it? Why would there be parables or metaphores on it? You're comparing chickens with goats now, the two have absolutely nothing to do with one another. And people use metaphors bout everyday.

Fast as lightening
Slow as Christmas
Slow as molasses
Cold as ice
ect ect

And who says "everyone" lies? Have you met everyone? And how do you know Jesus lied? What information do you have to back such a claim?

there wouldn't be any parables or metaphors on a birth certificate or driver's License...because it's against the law to place lies on either or to askew from the truth which parables and metaphors do

Fast as lightening
Slow as Christmas
Slow as molasses
Cold as ice
ect ect

those are references to adjectives not metaphors or parables

And who says "everyone" lies? Have you met everyone?

lying is a form of self preservation ...which is why people either lie to others or lie to themselves ...but anyway if your real name isn't Cowboy then that is one example of you lying

And how do you know Jesus lied? What information do you have to back such a claim?

Jesus spoke in parables

Those were metaphors. They are used to give more understanding then just saying it's cold. Saying it's cold could mean kinda chilly, big jacket needed, or it's bout to snow. That is why people use metaphors to give more information and make their statement as accurate to what their meaning as possible.

No lying is not. Maybe in your head, but in the real world it is not. I for one do not lie. Yes, I have lied in the past. But ever since I had that tragedy I have stopped lying. And no using "Cowboy" is not lying. When you sign up on this site, you give a nic name or a log in name. You don't have to put your real name there. In the bio of yourself in your profile is where you can put your real name if you wish to broadcast it to everyone.

Jesus spoke in parables

I already know this, pretty much everyone does. That does not answer my question, so I will ask it again. How do you know Jesus lied? Give me just one example of him lying and showing of how he was lying.
