My definition of rudeness is somewhat flexible. I got kicked out of a fraternity at University for the following charges:
1. Minor Misbehaviour
2. Gross Minor Misbehaviour
3. Minor Misbehaviour that was Gross

This whole thread is rude.

I'm deeply offended.

*Harrrumph!*

I agree.

I would also like to point out that - in this now-3-page-thread filled with messages from others - OP has only responded to us

once.

"No reply IS [indeed] a reply."

After 36 unanimous replies to my question, I thanked everyone for their opinion and considered it the end of the thread. Beyond that point it seems to me that everyone is just beating a dead horse. Carry on, if you must. Thanks again.

Ok, now I get it....whoa

While not replying to a message is one form of an answer because it shows a lack of interest, is it also being rude ?

Not replying happens to be my nicest way of showing my lack of interest in someone. We can't please everyone.

Nope. If people would read profiles before sending an initial message (yanno, to see if there's anything in common TO warrant contact),

they'd probably discover why others are so rude as to not reply.

Rather rude of them to presume others should read and reply to their messages when they can't be bothered to read themselves,

don't you agree?

winking

I'd agree if people actually wrote something in their profile. So many are blank or extremely short.

Something simple i've found since being on dating sites (around 3 months) is that in general, women say they are looking for an honest, humourous guy when what they mean is they want a male model with a seven figure bank account.

Now that , to me, is dishonest.

Just sayin

Such an attitude doesn't lead to winning a popularity contest. Just saying...
