Sarah, you can't blame the guys too much here when you have a hot profile that sends out sexual vibes like that. Guys are visual creatures that can get aroused with a good stiff wind blowing.

From your point of view, I have to have a boring profile and an ugly photo in oder to get good responses?
frustrated

then you won't get any responses... which should you hate, the players or the game? smokin

You both seem to be rather black & white

There's more options than a 'boring' profile & 'ugly' picture and a 'hot profile'.
Bit naive to think that a not overly 'hot' profile is boring.
Now I don't see anything 'hot' about your profile, and you've changed your picture. (maybe your profile too, I don't know)

If you pose like that -which in itself isn't sexual at all- and wear a see-through shirt, certain men will get the wrong idea.
Then the choice is yours to either put up with their chit or to go for a less provocative, great picture.

Nothing wrong in seeking attention, but then don't moan when you get it from the ones you don't like.
Lot of fruitcakes online, if you want more serious reactions, get a different photo. Simple as that.

It's not about serious or not serious, sometimes I don't want to be "serious" but what I don't like is the hypocrisy of the first message saying "I'm looking my soul mate" and 5 mins later THE SAME GUY is asking if I'm horny or other ingenious question.

What bother me a little is that SWITCH from "the soul mate woman" to "I need a woman with deep throat" in less than 5 mins. lol

If a guy think that is near to what I looking for (reading my profile first) and is looking for an occasional encounter, maybe I can say yes or not, but how I can trust a person who have two personalties?

So what would be your reasons for saying yes? his pic or profile, or would you just be horny when he asks?

sorry princess, doesn't work that way

My reasons to say yes or not? are just that, MY reasons, (I think that you have yours ;)
If it works that way or not......Who knows?

But for sure all agree that we all prefer an upfront man/woman instead of an hypocrite, doesn't matter if it's men or women.

I found that more and more people ask for chat in the first message, for a date in the second, and for sex in the 3rd message (all these in less than 5 minutes). Without ask likes, how you feel or why you are in a date website.
My panties color or if I'm horny is not in discussion when you are looking for a real date :)
If you are looking just sex, you can ask for it, and maybe with luck you can have it. What I'm trying to say is (and need others opinions) be sincere, don't try to go into a lady panties with "I'm looking for my soul mate" if that is not your intention. ;)

Wanna know why men (and women) play the "not so sincere" angle? Because being blunt and honest still isn't "IN" these days. As Nicholson stated...."You can't handle the truth". laugh

while i agree about the upfront POV, the only reason to say yes without knowing someone is looks... but i would never say yes without knowing them first

I really understand your frustration sarahlon1979. Who doesn't want sincerity and respect from the people who approach them, but the chatroom is alot like a bar atmosphere. You will meet a few sincere guys there, but you have to wade through a lot of drunks before finding the decent ones  . If the guys in a bar approach you and tell you that they are looking for their soulmate , would you believe all of them? Probably not ... because its a bar! lolol . The profiles that are created here are not the gospel truth. Sincerity has to be tested over time

Says the woman looking for a far older man for friendship...as long as they have enough money to take care of her and treat her to nice meals. Yeah, I read your profile. Why not just say "I'm looking for a sugar daddy, but I'm not putting out". Well Pot, keep calling the Kettle black...

Well ... guess only 2 possibilities:
Either he's a loser or ... your own reactions cause it. Maybe you get too sexy, flirty, playful, ... , ... too soon and they get the wrong idea about you.
Doesn't mean you are really doing anything wrong, but it still may cause you to get such reactions.
And remember what a picture does ... men are simple creatures, as soon as they see bare skin, they seem to have their 'lower head' plugged in.
I used to have a picture that showed my legs. I removed it for exactly this reason laugh laugh
You live and learn. Sure you want to show your best side, but your best side doesn't always give you the best reactions, not online anyways.

Good luck

This begs the observation that this guy may have actually been truly and honestly looking for a "soul mate"....his idea of which, is a woman who has a "deep throat" and is sure she wants to "do him" within the first five minutes.

I'm not completely kidding.

You just do what you are comfortable with Princess, and try not to live your life on others opinions....if worse comes to the worst....use the block option, which is always available...just saying..
