Not friendly ?
Small town ? Or big city, where no one pays attention to anyone else ? Did something happen?

My Town.. Well, yes. I moved here for the life style. Before this I was in a small town. Ugh..hated it.

But now the craziness in another town is so bad.. That I will move again.
I keep moving further South.
I moved 13-14 times.
I joke that I may end up in Cuba.

But seriously.. I have no idea, where I want to go.

I love where I live.. close to the mountains, lots of lakes/rivers for recreation, seasonal climate.. friendly people..
If you find people unfriendly, what situations are you placing yourself in?
Try volunteering somewhere and be friendly yourself.
I know small towns are very 'cliqueque'? (clicky).. they have their 'circles' of friends that are hard to penetrate..
join some groups of what you have an interest in (hobby?)..

I live by the beach.
The people are friendly and helpful.
The beaches had golden sand

Last year I lived be the lakes. I loved it. It was colder being inland but the lakes are nice to do stuff in and around.
The town focused on family and that's the environment it had. I will return back to the town.

I love the town, it's an old victorian era town, which made it's money from the textile industry, has some fantastic old buildings and architecture, and some stunning countryside and scenery within a 10 minute drive.

unfortunately like most towns in the UK and Europe it is inundated with migrants, criminals, and in our case students ( thousands of Chinese students have started appearing!)

but yes i love my town and i am very proud of it!

I only sleep in my place. Most times I work and play in the big city. The hustle and bustle of the crowds, the bright lights etc and yes, the girls are prettier downtown, but that's about all they are envied for... The women on this forum are way more well rounded...good looking , smart and unavailable to most... Wait a sec... How is that any different from the girls in me city???

That you must have a real warm coat and good heating?

Where I live is okay. For now.
Nice and quiet, nature here is wonderful, it's remote (not always handy), men are short (major bummer!).
But I got a nice home, large garden etc. neighbour is okay, really nice friend a few doors down...
Not complaining. But not for the rest of my life. I don't want to stay here.

town is ok , but i miss Florida
dont get me wrong the snow looks cool and i love hte color changes on the tree's
but digding out the car sucks and my driveway is about 2 semi lengths, plus another semi for the side walk to get from the drive way to the house
but for me its more of who is around me rather then where i live
<shrug>
not sure how you got that people here are not friendly
guessing you where just talking to the wrong people, or they could have been having a bad day, etc etc etc

Where I live is fine. However, I want to move back to the coast of Florida. Ahhhhhhhhh.....the beach. Or, move to the Caribbean and set up a shack and sell stuff. laugh

Having seen a tiny li'l bit of Florida I can understand that ppl want to go back there!
I got this immediate happy feeling. No clue what the ppl are like, as I was only visiting / shopping, but I liked the vibe of the area.

Meh. Capitol city of the most powerful nation on the planet? S'okay I guess.

Pluses and minuses. Nice museums. Fireworks are so-so in July.

There seems to be a tendency of some of the weaker minded people hereabouts, to think that living in the city makes THEM important too. Causes a lot of egotistical driving.

But the weather is relatively mild, we have no wild alligators, and no recent reports of Bigfoot attacks.

Have to be prepared to jump out of the way of an occasional speeding Presidential limo, followed closely by SUV's full of secret service guys and reporters.
