I lot of things put me off ...
guess might be their ... first mail with starting with a comments... like hi babe... or hi beautiful ... hi honey ... and other rhetorical words ... I am guessing they do not look at my profile... before contacting me ... I say a lot of things that can tell them... what they may need to know ...before asking me a ?... |

I also have a solo lifestyle, but I do have a huge family and Grand-kids to keep me company if I so wish.
Like yourself, females simply do not respond no matter how polite you are. I view them as ignorant, self centred individuals and just move on after blocking them. Every single site has different functions, but all end up with females that will not have the courtesy to respond. I suspect they are waiting for that adonis or greek god, that's going to whisk them away in his strong arms and take them to his yacht in the Caribbean. Sorry ladies, that's not gonna happen! One site I'm currently using actually has a function to send 100 messages out to females. It goes along the lines of 'make my day and reply to me', but much nicer than simply that. Only got one reply and that was from a Lithuanian lady, and all written in her native tongue. Out of politeness I replied to her, with a nice message translated in her language. Dating sites by and large are pretty useless, far too many female window shoppers that do not know what they want. At least this site is free, so no monetary harm done:) |

When the first thing I see is "looking for marriage". If you are "husband hunting", then I figure you have a lot of emotional baggage and are not capable of being an independent, competent woman. I feel the same way about men who are afraid of marriage... It tells me they're afraid of ever making a real commitment again after they split from their ex. Meaning they're not truly over it and have emotional baggage. |

I got a “friend invetation” from a guy and when I viewed his profile his main line in orange said “stop staring at me!” Big turn off for me. Saying “Hey babe” is a turn off too because I’m not your babe and so is an empty profile. Also sending a friend invetation then deactivatiing your account is a turn off.

We just was a guy that is what we want...not some guy who can't read a profile, and just bulldozes right ahead even though we say "thanks, but I don't think we have *anything* in common"... (which answers your query above about "but all end up with females that will not have the courtesy to respond.".....because most of the time when we do that, the guy gets pissy, and demands to know why, and then gets hatful..) I have been surprised at the number of 50+ year old guys with kids under 10 at home (some in their early 60's).. Nothing says "I go for younger women" tha that.. Because it's not likely his wife had that kid when *she* was 48...  Maybe that happenes occasionally, but not as often as *I* am seeing it. |
