Shouldn't the world have one medium-large city where nudism is allowed? Is there a city like this somewhere in the world? Think about it. Evolution has been mostly without clothing from a time perspective. Not only that but nudity has been so commercialized and computerized that there aren't many places of it outdoors. It has been bound to sex by deprivation hasn't it? Is that a good idea binding those two so tightly that there's few places to let your curiosity loose?

There is nudist beaches and saunas in Germany, but the rest of the country? Hah. And I avoid these places as well

A friend of mine used to visit a nudist camp on weekends, and she can confirm that the members are just ordinary-looking people...not a Hollywood version where everyone is thin, thirty, good-looking, and has a great body.

In the 50's, down in Laguna Beach, California, they had a nude beach (only locals and a few others knew of it) and my Mother simply could not resist taking us and the dog, through it. I tell you, my mouth hung open the entire time, so fascinating was it, when you talked with someone you did not know where to look. We were always embarrassed, they never were.

A whole city would ferment some weird goings on, I think. skinny dipping is fun though, ya prudes :-) maybe throw a few frisbies, play some volleyball. Great!! Though maybe those days are over.. But a city? I don't know about that..

We have a Little island that serves as a nudist colony , mainly in summer .. every one who comes thru is obligated to leave all clothes at the entrance , so to speak ....just so they have nothing to hide....I have never been , but I have heard there is only senior citizens out there ... yup they don't give a chit , even about each other .... Personally , my apartment is my tiny nudist colony .... you can stay but your clothes have to go ... ha ha !!

Give me real reasons why this city should not exist? Social morals is one reason. Hygiene is another. Protection from the elements yet another. Protection from working hazards is another. Fashion is yet another. The nude human body can be a work of art and if all were works of art it would be one thing but not all human bodies are toned gods and goddesses. Plus, people in cities are from all ages so not only do you have children, teenagers, adults and old people living there, you have many different personalities with different moral imperatives. Try to imagine you mom, dad, son or daughter always nude. Try to imagine the stains on furniture, what was that slippery stuff you slipped on? Eww, what is that awful stink? Part of the allure of getting to know your special someone is what you can't see. If everyone is nude all the time and there's a whole city like that, where is the mystery? How sexy is undressing someone if they are not wearing anything?

Each and every point, although the first thing I always think about when people say they go naked in their own home is hygiene. I find it pretty gross. And I don't want stains from people's bottom ends on my furniture. OP says "give me a reason we shouldn't have it." Me is thinking, "Give us a reason we SHOULD have it." It has no added value. Would be too cold for me too and on hot days I'd burn to a crisp with my skin. Kids is a good argument. I wouldn't want perverts getting off on naked children. Also, nude means shoeless. Good luck with that one!
