How many people are in relationships with someone because they believe they can do no better?

currently tho.. i am in the relationship im in because i am happy, he makes me happy, he suppores me and my choices, he is kind, compasionate, and reassuring... and i try and be the same to him... we are together because we love one another... and see a future with each other.

I've already done that. When your self-esteem is low, that's when you think you can't do any better. I pulled myself out of that rut and now know I deserve a whole lot more then I was getting in the past.
