damn, lol. the women here are ruthless. you'll never catch me with that problem tho, but this guy can be in desperate need of help if hes coming to people for advice on a forum. so dont down him for trying to get help. your more frowned upon doing nothing or even attempting to take steps to do something.

Thanks man, I appreciate that, good looking out. drinks

yeah bro, no problem. all guys get themselves in **** like this sometime in their lives. women just dont understand it.

What is to understand about someone not being proactive and making good decisions in their life? How many lessons does one have to learn before they start to smarten up? slaphead

My comment is made in general to your general statement that "women just don't understand".

your seeing everything one sided. not everyone is the same and not everyone is going to make the same choices. judging someone for doing what they do isnt right. has nothing to do with smartening up, because everyone makes mistakes as an imperfect being each and everyday. he just chose a different route by asking for help on a public forum. and you should know what i meant by women dont understand, because thats a proven fact - women dont understand men and why they like what they like or why they do what they do. same goes for women - unless your trying to say each sex is the same in all aspects.

Oh hell! I don't even know where to begin with this comment! rofl

I am working on my graduate degree in human behavior and psychiatrics for criminal law. Shall I recite from my text books regarding your generalizations? Proven fact? I missed that chapter!

I am not judging him. I made the statement that if didn't like public opinions then he should not come to a public board. I do find it odd that one would solicit help from an internet forum but I didn't judge him. I do, however, avoid people that aren't strong like the plague.

Life is about being smart and learning lessons. No one wants to hitch their star to an adult that cannot make proper, cognitive choices.

I also read that you think we are angry women. No -- we are women that have opinions. You are generalizing again and that is poison and ignorant. sad2

Have a wonderful evening! happy

if a guy can handle being told hes needs to lose weight, then a woman should too:banana:

It's absolutely none of your business to tell another person to lose weight -- especially if you have do not have any blood or martial ties to the person.

Just move on and let her find someone that will accept her as she is now.

We shouldn't try to change people -- it cannot be done. Accept them (warts and all) – end of story.

If she asks you to help her lose weight, that is a different story. She is asking for motivation and support.

I wouldn't ask a guy to change his socks if I did't like them. I either accept his ugly socks or I don't.

I cannot believe that there have been 5 pages of responses in this thread when only one would have sufficed.

" Are you f**king KIDDING???? "

That's all that needed to be said.

Good grief. I say just about anything that comes to mind...but even I wouldn't say something stupid like that.

Alright I'll probably break it off with her... any suggestions on how to? she's already starting to fall pretty hard here.

Falling pretty hard? Huh? All ready?

Did you even go on a date?

The original question was serious?

he had two dates with her before he realized she was a bigger girl and not his type, so now his ego has convinced him that's she really into him.

To ask a girl to lose some weight?

YES, it is rude and mean!!

How would you like it if somebody told you that they didn't like the size or your nose or ears and thought that you should get them fixed?

Surely after the first date you knew this... but agreed to a second date afterall... So it must have been acceptable at that time?

Yes, it would be considered rude to ask something like that of anyone. Turn it around in your mind and think if she were to make some kind of request of you, because something about you was a turn off for her?

You should just move on and let her find someone who likes her for who and how she is... not wasting her time with someone who thinks she needs to change after only 2 dates.

Very well said.

It just bothers me that he waited this long for it to be an issue; who dates someone twice and doesn't know they're not attracted to them?

lol It's no more rude or mean than telling a man his "package" is too small.

oddly enough, women are well aware of their weight without a man having to point it out to them.
